Hi Cousin Dupree, I know you are a long time viewer and subscriber to the channel, thank you. However, I really must disagree with you on these two points. Firstly, I think it is up to the individual how much he/she decides to pay/tip. I personally would not be influenced by your comment, it really is only the business of the person paying or tipping and no one else. Secondly, of course, like the tipping it is up to the individual if he/she decides to brush his/her teeth with tap water however, the next time you do this please think about the number of dead rats, cats, birds and even human waste that gets into the water system.

I think you might have missed the other big one: do not show any disrespect to the royal family. This includes putting cash down on a surface with the King's face towards the table.
Any notes with the current King doesn't really bother Thai's so much, but as there are still a lot of notes still around with the previous beloved King Rama IX, will draw dirty looks.
Hi Peter....! Greetings from Bangkok...! Tonight I was having a couple of beers in your favourite spot opposite Hooters in Nana Plaza..! My last week here in Thailand...! I’m having a great time. Pattaya was absolutely Amazing. Sorry I missed your livestream last Friday. I think many people will find this Video very interesting and useful. Lots and lots of great stuff to consider if you travelling to Thailand for the first time. Lovely to hear from you again Mate and look after yourself. See you soon..!
It's great to see this video and have any question I may have had answered. I've learned alot from this channel but there were a few things I wasn't aware of. Thanks Peter!
In my experience the best rates are given at Superrich and the one next to them at the airport. Of course Superrich in the city will give the same rate as well.
Peter this was all great stuff mate .. first time I’ve left a comment on UA-cam after watching you experienced Thailand UA-camr boys over many years so I am serious . Love sitting in the pool over here ( Brisbane Australia ) on the weekends watching your viewers stories and one day I’ll send you mine . Been extremely happy married to a Chiang Rai girl for over 10 years now and just keeps getting better .. started a bit rocky .. but another story 😉 Only thing I could add to this video is I have a no annual fee debit card in Australia that accepts the fee from international ATM’s . And it pays very comparative exchange rates .. I’ve been going to Thailand about 15 years now and have never had to exchange cash or take any over . Anyway cobber .. great stuff .. love ya work ! Thanks for putting the effort in to open up our eyes big fella but in the long run as you say just enjoy yourself .. be respectful and show a few manners … and what a great time you’ll have in Thailand ! 😉 Ta mate !
I dont think you should leave a tip because the staff are not paid very much , however tipping is okay if you get good food and good service , That is what tipping is for, not poorly paid staff.
@@ThailandBound Excuse me for having an opinion , AS I said, Tipping is for good service and good food , And THAT is what tipping is designed for , And if you want to give money to anybody for any reason then that is not my business, So you are telling me that you would tip if the waitress was rude or not looking after your food and drink , If so, then you are lying sir, get back to me if I am wrong or ban me as I think you will

Peter, not sure your away but the Thai Government is giving away 1 miillion marijuana plants for households that want one. They did a complete 180 on marijuana. I been keeping up on it. I can add some insight into what is going on with Agoda having dealt with them as a provider. Agoda knows full well that their major value add is the low prices that they are able to offer. As a result they are very protective of their pricing to the point where they will send people around to make sure you are not advertising equal/lower prices or even offering them to walk-in customers.
The markets in Patpong are not currently running. The bars are getting lively again but it's odd walking down there without the hustle and bustle of the market.
Top notch video 👍🏾 In one of your other videos you mentioned something about if a girl from the countryside villages has "good English" perhaps her former career might be in question 😉 How good are you saying?
If you are going to exchange money be careful with which currency you want to exchange. $ to Baht is or was the cheapest but some "lesser" known currencies have awful rates. When in the Middle East and going to Thailand it was cheaper to change Dirham to $ first before travelling then change in Thailand. This was in the 90's so maybe Yuan is better now. Oh yes you have different rates for different denominations Higher gets better!
I have a question, if you need to go to the hospital in Thailand say expenses 20.000+ baht. Show them your VISA card which has an acceptable insurance policy. Is that enough or might you need to put out money personally and then get repaid from the insurance company that is behind your VISA insurance.
Also don’t forget ATM machines in Thailand gives you your money before it gives your card back. So always try and remember to wait for your card back. In the uk the card always comes out first.

Any notes with the current King doesn't really bother Thai's so much, but as there are still a lot of notes still around with the previous beloved King Rama IX, will draw dirty looks.
30 things that's a lot to remember 😁
Which is why I cut it down from 100
@@ThailandBound I'd watch the other 70! Thanks.
Really useful. Thanks for doing that!
Glad it was helpful!
Thanks Javier, Glad to hear your having a good time.
Excellent video Peter, i have been to Thailand a dozen and never thought of some of the tips you mentioned 👍
Glad you enjoyed it
It's great to see this video and have any question I may have had answered. I've learned alot from this channel but there were a few things I wasn't aware of. Thanks Peter!
Another 30 coming soon.
@@ThailandBound can't wait!
Thanks for the informative video buddy. Been a few times to Thailand and just learnt a few more things . Cheers 👍
Volume 2 will be out this Sunday
Greetings from China. Thanks for the video, Peter. Take care
In my experience the best rates are given at Superrich and the one next to them at the airport. Of course Superrich in the city will give the same rate as well.
Also if you all can't do the chip for the phone for internet. Rent the wifi at the airport works great. Me and my friend were sharing it
Great advice as always Peter! Happy Fathers day
Thanks Mickey!
Nice one thanks 🙏
😉 Ta mate !
Thanks for your positive feedback, I appreciate it and look forward to receiving your story one day.
Great tips 😄👍 this very helpful
Sunny day s kisses.
Interesting & helpful, as I plan to visit Thailand next year. About your previous diabetes, how did you beat it?
Great video, thank you 🙏
My pleasure!
You can bye pot in shopping centers now.
David you need to go on to a Thai website and read the rules, Bangkok is not Amsterdam
Ill be there soon talk soon
Sunscreen is actually illegal in some national parks as it is toxic to coral
Yes, but you might want to use it when sitting at the pool in your hotel.
Yes but your vlog was advice for travellers, do you not think they need to know this and avoid being fined, as in vaping etc
Bring your own sunscreen. $6 for the cheapest tiny bottle I have ever seen in Pattaya. Walmart in U.S.A. is a little over $4 for big bottle.
Nice,...thank You
Welcome 😊
Some feedback on your book - within the first two pages I was hit with a bunch of British slang that I didn't understand.
Brandon: Sorry about that. Please ask Amazon for a refund
thanks
You're welcome!
The problem with taking deodorant & sunscreen when traveling from the U.S. is that security will confiscate the stuff over a certain amount.
In the UK as long as it's packed into your suitcase and not hand luggage you can take as much as you want
Do Thai people, girls have different ideas of what deodorant etc smells good?
I dont think you should leave a tip because the staff are not paid very much , however tipping is okay if you get good food and good service , That is what tipping is for, not poorly paid staff.
Tipping is up to the individual, if they want to tip for “Whatever reason” the that is up to them and no one else’s business.
@@ThailandBound Excuse me for having an opinion , AS I said, Tipping is for good service and good food , And THAT is what tipping is designed for , And if you want to give money to anybody for any reason then that is not my business, So you are telling me that you would tip if the waitress was rude or not looking after your food and drink , If so, then you are lying sir, get back to me if I am wrong or ban me as I think you will
Mosquito repellant that works on golfers in the Everglades is the paper fabric softener your put in the clothes dryer. Put one your back pocket and on your neck. It works.
Peter, not sure your away but the Thai Government is giving away 1 miillion marijuana plants for households that want one. They did a complete 180 on marijuana. I been keeping up on it. Crazier still, if u had weed confiscated you can get it returned. According to the government they have 6 tons worth 3 million dollars they ate returning (cant remeber what the baht amount was as i converted it into usd when i heard it).
I talked about this in my upload on Sunday
Superrich is the best money exchange
I can add some insight into what is going on with Agoda having dealt with them as a provider. Agoda knows full well that their major value add is the low prices that they are able to offer. As a result they are very protective of their pricing to the point where they will send people around to make sure you are not advertising equal/lower prices or even offering them to walk-in customers.
Good info Andre
If your in a bar and theres a sign that say we take all cards, at the end of the night leave them a sympathy card saying u left ur wallet at home lol
😍😂
Nice! Good to have an unexpected upload, Peter. School year is ended so you can produce more videos, yeah?
I hope to spend 2 months in Bangkok when the schools break up.
You can go into the bank and withdraw from the desk without paying 220 baht atm charge.
Be warned. Most banks in Thailand have long lines. I have no idea why, but they do.
I also go in.
I think 220thb to take out 30 000thb at a time is OK. just use the yellow ones. Carting loads of USD into thailand is not a good option.
The markets in Patpong are not currently running. The bars are getting lively again but it's odd walking down there without the hustle and bustle of the market.
Yes I was in Patpong in December it was a ghost town.
Another tip for hiring a scooter or a car in Thailand. You need to apply for an international licence in your home country before coming to Thailand.
True, they’re really cracking down on that I’m recent times.
Top notch video 👍🏾 In one of your other videos you mentioned something about if a girl from the countryside villages has "good English" perhaps her former career might be in question 😉 How good are you saying?
I don't quite understand the question if you like to email me and explain it I'll write back to you
👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
You should get insurance before you go to Thailand then you can show the hospital your card
North Thailand goes down to 13-15 degrees... I've seen them burn fires to keep warm ffs.
🤣
Can you confirm if it has been legalised? As I watched a video of tourist going to weed cafes in Bangkok?
No it hasn't been legalised it's been decriminalised a big difference
