Good example of formula for Messi's sweat spot of shooting and passing, but another one that instantly striked me, was Robben always cutting to the inside to his left. Everyone knew what's gonna happen, but he still delivered pretty much each time.
Someone who currently does it these days but isn't as prolific, is Anthony for Man United. It's obvious he's going to cut inside for his left footed curling shot and yet he always seems to get it off.

BTW, did you realize that Isagi's name sounds VERY similar to a one certain Italian top scorer of all time? Yes, Isagi is a reference of Filippo Inzaghi. My man possessed literally nothing special, average shot, terrible long shot, no dribbling skill, average speed, and bad air battle. Sound like a certain player we know in Blue Lock. However, his position? My man was named the King of Offside for a reason. The moment you took your eyes off of Inzaghi, he scores. His position and his direct shot got unmatched accuracy at the time. His position prediction was top notch. Most of his goals are inside the box no matter what.
As a football fan Blue Lock does not make sense but the thing is it does. Japan is a team who struggle winning world cup matches and it is not because that their teamwork is bad but they need a pure striker who can give goals rather than the team winning just barely by hanging on, saw the world cup this year , they got that far on teamwork if they got a world class striker they can be one of the powerhouses of football
Before the WC finals, blue lock episode just came out. In that episode, Isagi scores a crazy anime type-shit goal. Whats even more crazier is Mbappe scored strikingly similar goal and i was just flabbergasted. That was one crazy hell of a night.
6:50 in the manga chigiri has a golden zone that lets his goal scoring oppertunity increase waay moore kinda like messis favourite position to shoot in
How dare a pretentious, not even well known youtuber talk to me about my one and only sports manga and anime I ever watched and how it has relevance to real life football. Subscribed and liked
I think another thing about blue lock that people need to understand is that it’s from the perspective of a Japanese football fan. The outlandish claims for sure are overdone for narrative, but the core message is something that is meant for aspiring Japanese football players.
in my opinion blue lock shows a realistic kick from a certain point of view, because those actions are not unreal, but in the real world do not happen so often. blue lock shows football in its best actions constantly, never going beyond the limit of realism, for this is a fantastic anime, because what you see you can potentially replicate, clearly it takes a great commitment and a lot of training, But you can do it, you can be like a bachira doing skills at every action or isagi doing direct shots. That’s why I love blue lock
perfect man speaking about formulas is Robben he always did the same thing run along from the wing cut in put it in the far corner always works everybody knows its coming but nobody can stop it

I like to think of blue lock as not unrealistic but like most anime it's over exadurated sure some of the plays are crazy and vary consistent especially for high schoolers it is still semi based in reality and I think that's cool even meta vision wail stupidly unrealistic as it may seem and kinda is does have some roots real life a top player of a sport should be able to have a general idea of were there teammates or opponents are at any time
exactly. the over the top edginess makes it entertaining and the SLIGHT hint of realism keeps it from being inzauma 12 i mean inazuma was goated as a kid but its cool to see real life concepts applied to such an over the top show
This video was very entertaining and has very good editing! I checked your UA-cam channel and saw that you just started uploading these essay type videos and don't have many subscribers, So I wish you the best of luck! keep up the good work!

Lamine yamal has one thing where he goes kinda right, but cuts left and shoots curling in the top corner. He done it in the france game in the Euros and for Barça
That last second bit is like me and chess while the early and mid game are important to try and take control of the board the final moves are where everything matters
i feel like everybody forgets ego only said the striker has to be an egoist not the rest of the team and blue lock is meant to breed the most egotistical Striker
Messi said he doesn’t even believe nor believed he was the best, he also said being the best was never his goal his goal was only to play football and have fun. Some aspect of blue lock are true but compared to the amont of things that are either not true or totally false is astonishing, if you want to read a Real football manga with real development and that blue lock took inspiration from read Ao Ashi
Thats true. I wasnt watching blue lock for the realism anyways, its very extra nature is what makes it stupidly fun for me. but it was nice to compare which ones they DID get right. And yeah messi has always been incredibly humble, but you need some sort ego to be the person who commands the argentinian team.
@@itshyfen To be honest I feel Messi isn't even commanding his team, even if he's captain. He is more like the hope and pride of the other players and thanks to his charisma and humbleness everybody is encouraged to be the best player possible, to finally give him a world cup. Half of the game he's standing still but teammates want to pass to him because he is reliable and he can gain time to create better action, he has the captain spirit more than ego And for France it's similar, while they had a star player like Mbappe, every player preferred to pass to Giroud because he has that captain spirit and created more chances, that then Mbappe used to score
@@itshyfen It’s not that much ego it’s more leadership Egoism means you would play for yourself, messi play for the team like most people in this sport by the way
@@boubi9329 I mean ego refers to someones sense of self importance or self esteem. You can see youself as someone of high importance to people without the need to brag about it. You can have an ego and still be a team player

As a football player, fan and enthusiast born and raised in Argentina (a football-obsessed culture) I just hate the whole 'egoism' part so much. It's supposed to be a commentary on japanese society which frowns massively upon such things, but it doesn't reflect the reality of football, one of the most tactically developed team sports out there. Sure, there is a certain level of self-confidence that is necessary to operate at an elite level, but that's the thing, that's the bare minimum. If anything, at a high enough level, it is precisely tactical and team awareness, communication, game-reading skills (which are essentially people-reading skills) and such collective play skills which make the great stand out from the good. It's literally one of the biggest differences between Ronaldo (pure ego) and Messi (ego+teamplay) and what basically makes Messi stand out above everyone else.
I mean, I didnt say ego was ALL YOU NEEDED. I was saying that it has SOME truth to it. And even with all the ego talk in Blue Lock there is still A LOT of teammwork shown. Even the show knows you cant win on your own. (Barou may be egotistic but he has passed many times when he absolutely had to)
Exactly, there's a reason why Ronaldo's in Saudi Arabia whilst Messi's still looking at playing high level European football. Confidence is mportant but key egoism like in Blue Lock is going to have you end up having a career like Ballotelli which is annoying how most of the fanbase go over the top with the whole egoism thing
Funny enough blue lock actually has a lot of similarities in how teams cultivate their talent. Only the strongest survives and gets to be on Real Madrid, Barcelona etc. your friends are also your rivals if you slip up for even a moment someone else will overtake you and if you can’t hang well you get tossed aside and replaced by someone else. It’s pretty similar in that aspect actually, but it’s also obviously exaggerated a lot and of course also is an anime of course so that’s to be expected. But it’s really awesome and super fun to watch!

the "monster" inside of them in blue lock is very real. In real life, we call it the "flow state" and just like formulas, it's difficult to recreate but the best can do it whenever they want
for every ronaldo there is one marcelo or ozil or my boy benzi for every haaland there is KDB so that a footballer must be egoistic is not totally correct rather then being egoistic a striker should be brave and confident on their own strength that if times or situation needs they can create a magical moment out of nowhere..is a great striker
3:10 To be fair though, Isagi went for Bachira orginally, Isagi only went for Kira because Bachira's pass was so accurate both in position and intent that Isagi had no choice but to kick it to Kira, the strongest player in the room.
Yes it is. The satisfaction of scoring your own goals are great. However, Football (Soccer in America), is a team sport and sometimes being the assist to the Goal can be satisfying as well, but my GOD does it feel good to see the curve on the ball after a BEAUTIFUL Strike. It fills Joy in my soul seeing the enemy team crumble on their knees after a loss from MY game winning shot. Sensational.

Please dont quit cuz i watch alot of videos like urs where they go over animes and their episodes and stuff and ur actually one of if not my favorite UA-camr who does that and that even in just two videos. I rlly like your personality, your video editing as well as your analysis basically everything in ur video. Just like how you said oshi no ko had the perfect first episode in all aspects, i wud say ur blue lock and oshi no ko videos were perfect in every aspect. I even liked that fact you are such a big anime and football fan like me and u like messi alot as well just like me lol. Just keep up the videos man cuz i really enjoyed it and i do not have any way to actually prove my honesty but i actually mean it. Stay well and take care 👍
Edit: i subscribed with notifications on, i will be waiting for this video's part 2 for sure
blue lock whole philosophy breaks apart from just the existence of Lionel Messi
As a college striker in the farthest back corner of my football brain I can feel that little blue lock ego in there so this was spot on to me 😂
As a football fan Blue Lock does not make sense but the thing is it does.
Nice content bro, can i suggest for the next part to also talk about the real life counterparts of blue lock players like isagi-inzaghi etc.
Was considering this, but im pretty sure another youtuber (karu) already covered this. so we'll see
The monster in 0:16 is a beast
Godzilla's real nemesis
6:50 in the manga chigiri has a golden zone that lets his goal scoring oppertunity increase waay moore kinda like messis favourite position to shoot in
it's got a sick af name too, 44 Panther Snipe
Tf do you mean a golden zone? Did he piss himself?

With monsters going inside them💀

That’s why I love blue lock
just dont bother emulating nagi
my guy has virtually impossible goals to recreate, and my guy doesn't even train seriously ;-;
Mbappe has that one spot near the top left corner of the 18 and he almost always scores from there with his right foot
Henry esque
I just got this vid recommended yesterday and u were at 120 likes and a few hundred subs, look at u now!
perfect man speaking about formulas is Robben he always did the same thing run along from the wing cut in put it in the far corner always works everybody knows its coming but nobody can stop it
Not tryna be mean but plz don’t compare this shit anime with a beautiful sport like futbol
@@time_fyte2743 anime is literally about futbol, why not compare
First video that ive watched from you. I was going to play fc 24 but your video was too good. You called for my attention and I answered. I have a smile on my face typing this.
I love it when I see a smaller creator ask for a small amount of likes or subs and then it turns out to be a breakout video with an amount that completely blows their hopes out of the water. Happy for you, HyFen!

The eng dub for blue lock is actually very good.
I like to think of blue lock as not unrealistic but like most anime it's over exadurated sure some of the plays are crazy and vary consistent especially for high schoolers it is still semi based in reality and I think that's cool even meta vision wail stupidly unrealistic as it may seem and kinda is does have some roots real life a top player of a sport should be able to have a general idea of were there teammates or opponents are at any time
exactly. the over the top edginess makes it entertaining and the SLIGHT hint of realism keeps it from being inzauma 12
i mean inazuma was goated as a kid but its cool to see real life concepts applied to such an over the top show
Mahn really went from a few thousand fews to quarter million in a few days, you can definitely use this to help grow your channel exponentially 🤝🏼🔥
This video was very entertaining and has very good editing! I checked your UA-cam channel and saw that you just started uploading these essay type videos and don't have many subscribers, So I wish you the best of luck! keep up the good work!

2018 world cup was lead by Griezmann not Mbappe. Griezmann was the star and Mbappe was his side kick but in wc22, Mbappe stepped up.
for sure but you cant deny that he made a crazy good impression for a 19 year old
@@itshyfen Yeah absolutely I don't deny. He got a great star players support from national team so he can play freely.
He didn't say mbappe was the star player, he said mbappe played a vital role

6:50 in the manga it's explained as a "golden zone" the most optimal place where you could score. every player has stheig own "golden zone"
3:38 Why this always reminds me of his famous goal against getafe, messi is a cheat code and we witnessed how this cheat code performs, unstoppable.
i feel like everybody forgets ego only said the striker has to be an egoist not the rest of the team and blue lock is meant to breed the most egotistical Striker
i learned from blue lock and became a better footballer 💀
Very good vid, def subscribing
Ok, u got me, I want to see the second part... I subbed lol
Man I had the biggest ego in my entire school as a goal keeper , no one was able to score a goal when I was a kid
Great video man
Messi said he doesn’t even believe nor believed he was the best, he also said being the best was never his goal his goal was only to play football and have fun.
Half of the game he's standing still but teammates want to pass to him because he is reliable and he can gain time to create better action, he has the captain spirit more than ego
And for France it's similar, while they had a star player like Mbappe, every player preferred to pass to Giroud because he has that captain spirit and created more chances, that then Mbappe used to score
You’re my new favorite filipino anime youtuber. I really don’t like tagalog dubs anime analysts so I rather be sticking with a filipino speaking in english. ❤ matsa labs
3:07 - 3:13 this part will always make me laugh 😂
Btw if you haven't read the manga, The anime skipped out on Ego explaining Flow State
theyll probably save it for season 2 tbh
Funny enough blue lock actually has a lot of similarities in how teams cultivate their talent. Only the strongest survives and gets to be on Real Madrid, Barcelona etc. your friends are also your rivals if you slip up for even a moment someone else will overtake you and if you can’t hang well you get tossed aside and replaced by someone else. It’s pretty similar in that aspect actually, but it’s also obviously exaggerated a lot and of course also is an anime of course so that’s to be expected. But it’s really awesome and super fun to watch!
hey man, love the channel and content. as a fellow anituber, a few questions for you: what music do you use and do you get copyright claims on them? i need some BGM and im not good at music selecting. hoping you can provide some track names you used.
For this video i just got the Blue Lock OST. But watch out because 1 song in my video got me demonetized ://
ill edit this when I find the playlist I got them from.
great video, love from argentina!!
"You can pass and still be the best"
Isagi is that, he is a great striker and great on assist too!
We have dropped to a point where we're checking The accuracy of an anime with reality
will there be a second season to blue lock
yes
"Barou is flabergasted" got me a good chuckle
the "monster" inside of them in blue lock is very real. In real life, we call it the "flow state" and just like formulas, it's difficult to recreate but the best can do it whenever they want
This is amazingly well made
You may have reuploaded this video but that does not mean you have escaped making that video essay about gopal
he was talking about strikers having enough ego to shoot for themselves not every single player
Season 2 will be out before part 2 of this video
for every ronaldo there is one marcelo or ozil or my boy benzi
for every haaland there is KDB
so that a footballer must be egoistic is not totally correct
rather then being egoistic a striker should be brave and confident on their own strength
that if times or situation needs they can create a magical moment out of nowhere..is a great striker
3:10
To be fair though, Isagi went for Bachira orginally, Isagi only went for Kira because Bachira's pass was so accurate both in position and intent that Isagi had no choice but to kick it to Kira, the strongest player in the room.
Damn I honestly completely forgot he went for bachira first oops
@@itshyfen Any first time viewer would gloss over that fact, i also only realized it after rewatching
