I'm working in an auditorium that has two huge screens and a monitor in a control booth. I wanted to display two different PowerPoint slide shows on separate screens and leave my control booth screen to run a ZOOM meeting broadcast. This helped me so much! I made a 3 screen setup in display settings and used the drop down in PowerPoint under the SlideShow menu to select the screen I wanted that particular presentation to be displayed, and that left my primary screen free to do work. Thank you so much for putting me on the right trail!

Hello, this is a great video with great information. However, I do have a question for you. I am teaching virtually using 2 screens. One for the meeting ( to see the students) another one to have my presentation open and ready to share my screen. I am trying to play a game using power point, but when I start the slide show, it immediately opens up in both screens just as you mention in your video. The problem is that since it opens in both screens, I cannot see my students anymore. What can I do in order to be able to to see the power point slide show and my students at the same time?
Thank you!
Guys, this video is 100% genuine.
This presentation was clear and right to the point. Thank you for your work!

Thank you, this is very helpful and I do use PPT every sunday at church and always wonder if I can see my next slide on my laptop vs. projector, I will try tonight when I get home.

This is very helpful. Thank you Plugable! I noticed when you started the slide show NOT in presenter mode in the middle, that there was a lag between the left monitor and the "Monitor 1 Dell". Is that typical?
Glad we could be of help! If the event you are describing starts roughly at 2:10 (ua-cam.com/video/8BwNWxyxl6A/v-deo.html), then the explanation is that I I 'mis-clicked' on my mouse so the action to change to the next slide did not register. If you listen closely you can hear me click the mouse button again so the action takes place.
Pretty useful information. Thanks

Does this method still works if i want to get the same slides to appear on the monitor of multiple rooms (side-by-side & opposite)?
Thank you

While sharing our presentation, when we open another app, will it appear in the second display? Or the second display just show your presentation?
Thank you sir very useful video.
Glad we could be of help!
Are you able to look at other tabs on the first monitor while the presentation is open on the second monitor? I plan on using this method for my dnd game using a laptop and a portable monitor. I want to make sure I don’t spoil something on accident haha
is possible to use primary monitor (raw slides) on the left panel file to deliberately control the slide show on the secondary monitor? That would be the perfect solution i can view all the files on the primary monitor and click on whatever file i want and click to reflect on the slide show on the secondary monitor
Thanks bro

Very helpful...thanks you. Could you take this video one step farther about how to use the 2 monitors when doing a PowerPoint via Zoom? I'm having a heck of a time getting the presentation on the monitor that I want it on.
Glad we could be of help! Thank you as well for your suggestion for a future video, it is much appreciated.
With that said, the process for integrating Zoom into the mix is fairly straightforward.
First, follow the process we demonstrated in our current video to configure which display the PowerPoint presentation is shown on.
Once that is configured, start the Zoom application. While within the Zoom meeting, click on the option at the bottom of the meeting window for 'Share Screen'. Zoom will open a window that will allow you pick what specifically is shared within the Zoom meeting.
In this case, you would want to pick the same screen that is configured to show your PowerPoint presentation. For example, 'Screen 1' or 'Screen 2'. The Zoom application is helpful in that it will display a preview of what is to be shared.
Once the appropriate screen is selected, you just need to click the 'Share' button to confirm the choice, and then you will be ready to go.
Good video my question is I use my computer monitor as my presenter monitor and two more monitors for my audience but if I try to plug in third monitor everything brakes down. Why .
Hello and thanks for asking!
To be able to best assist you we would need to gather some additional information from you.
1) Are you using any Plugable products in this setup, if so which ones? You can usually find the model number on the bottom of our products.
2) When you note that 'everything breaks down', can you please describe what is happening in a bit more detail? Example clarifying information: Are your monitors blanking out, or is Power Point crashing?
We appreciate your reaching out to us for assistance, and we look forward to being able to assist you if we are able to do so.

How come I don't see the monitor option on powerpoint when I go to Slideshow :(
I'm having the same issue. Mine isn't showing "monitors" either. I'll have to figure out "why" but if you see this *within the next few minutes* of me asking, can you tell me if you figured it out and how? Lol!
@@TracyAllenVideos no I haven’t. :/ sorry!
Hi .. i have the same problem ,, any one of you found the solution ? , please reply to me when you see my comment 😞
how can i edit my presentation while presenting?please help
Presenter view not working for me??
Just to clarify, do you need a docking station to set this up?
A docking station is not required in order to use the PowerPoint functionality demonstrated in our video. The only requirement is that two displays are connected to the host PC.
You need to get into making asmr!😆
Why can't I use these functions on a chromebook . . . ?
2:56 how to add notes to an individual slide ?
Microsoft has a guide for adding notes to slides here --> support.microsoft.com/en-us/office/add-speaker-notes-to-your-slides-26985155-35f5-45ba-812b-e1bd3c48928e
