way, way, way too ahead of their time, huh? With a heavily derivative EIGHTIE'S sound AND aesthetic...where do you think most of this comes from? Them? lol get real..the ridiculous bs people will say
@@ResidentRaccoontotally agree, After Kraftwerk’s lps in 1974,75 and 78, nothing was totally new or of way ahead of their time. Gary Numan, Omd, Cabaret voltaire, Joy Division, Throbbing gristle and Depeche Mode completely copied their traits. So, Ladytron or Client in 2000-2003 how they could be sth new? Sucks😮
I saw it on Channel 4 also, mainly because I was obsessed with Sara Cox (after she co-presented “The Girlie Show” also on Channel 4, and love how she pervs on Holly Vallance). LOVE LADYTRON 😍😍😍😎😎😎!!!
Obviously you can't be the only one, you're just asking to attract opinions similar to yours. Personally, I find it boring when an artist sounds the same live as on the recording
I don’t listen to them much but the songs I’ve heard I realized that’s true, it can even be where the chorus sounds like a bridge or the sound like a chorus it’s weird, because their songs definitely sound like they’d fit into those structured but without them it always sound like there’s something missing.
Criminally underrated band with an absolute warhammer of a sound and aesthetic. Way, way, way too ahead of their time.
Shhh…there’s no actual rating system.
Super original observations though.

@@ResidentRaccoon 😜
@@ResidentRaccoon There was nothing like this in the 80's. I should know, I was there, and remember hoping this kind of band would eventually emerge.

Perfect example of how a song can be 1 verse only, no chorus and still be a masterpiece
they have the best style/fashion

Remember watching this on TV at the time. It still sounds amazing and they look cool as f***. Still hope to see them live some day...
Saw them live supporting Nine Inch Nails at Brixton Academy in 2005. Loved them ever since.
I’ve appreciated that Ladytron were always a good live act
early 00s music tv was the best time 💯 ... I miss that era so badly as someone who is now in their mid 30s gg
Love this band -- hope to see them live one day
Excellent - looks, sounds - perfect
Great version
Love Ladytron

Awesome version. Love this vid❤️
Mira Aroyo was so freggin hot 😍😍😍
Mira Aroyo was where it was at! total queen. I wish she had done more solo stuff.
This is the most underrated band ever
Love it. Their fit reminds me of Persona 1.
I need this version!!!!!!
Try the (2005) version released around the time of Witching Hour.
She’s a hottie! ❤️
Pop Levi on bass!!! Amazing musician!!!

Hot band
Fuck yeah!
👍
Dunno what’s goin on at start of this vid.. lol 😂
Holy cow. In 2002 they were so hot. Super annoying the MTV parts though.
Oooo shes a babe!
Does anyone else ever just hate when people don’t sing it like the original version? Or is it just me?
Obviously you can't be the only one, you're just asking to attract opinions similar to yours. Personally, I find it boring when an artist sounds the same live as on the recording
She keeps getting the lyrics wrong. "Say you'll let you know" should be "Say they'll let you know".
Great video though.
it's her song... she can sing whatever she wants
Helen Marnie does...but I never even noticed 😁!
Easy Ladytron... Where's Megatron??? Maybe he's playing a Mellotron!!!
What did she say?
janis ian; but w/ LOTTA keyboard ;)
Always thought this was a song that only had a chorus but no verses it's very good but needs more words
No. The song is a synth masterpiece, no need to turn it into something resembling a Sting diddy
I don’t listen to them much but the songs I’ve heard I realized that’s true, it can even be where the chorus sounds like a bridge or the sound like a chorus it’s weird, because their songs definitely sound like they’d fit into those structured but without them it always sound like there’s something missing.
@@rollercoaster24 Nah, it's perfect as it is, kind of reminds me of the Kraftwerk "Das Model"
Strongly disagree. The lyrics are just more of a background drone to the rich synthesizer sound for a reason.
