Marta Thrilled to find you. I am a master Gardener and have lived in West Germany for 5 years , some time ago. I saw how fertile the land was where we lived and my sweetest memory is the spring when the primula began to bloom. I had many in my garden in NJ which reminded me of yours, along with hydrangeas, clematis, lupine, beauty berry bushes and on and on. Now I live temporarily and only garden in containers but soon will move and I will happily get my knees dirty again!
Winter here in Australia, I have pruned my roses back quite hard as I do every year and they love it. I am sewing seeds for Spring time, winters are quite mild where I live and I can grow a lot of flowers early as it gets too hot for them in summer. Your garden is a credit to you. Love your videos. 😘🇦🇺🌺
I agree with you. I love pruning my roses and gathering flowers. It's so relaxing and my stress seems to go away. I hate pulling weeds and especially digging :) Your garden looks so lush, peaceful, and full with gorgeous roses. It takes lots of work and planning. So short "coffee breaks" and long chores to do :) :). But it's so rewarding! TY so much and greetings from the U.S.A.
Your garden is very beautiful! I also love 💕 your color palette! I live in the south in the USA zone 8a. We down sized and I have flowers all around my the foundation of our house. I am growing hydrangeas, large irises, dahlias, Coral bells, and salvias. Also containers with many varieties of flowers. We have mild winters and hot humid summers! You have done a great job with your garden! 😊❤🤗
Thank you, Marta, I look forward to seeing your videos. I live across the bay from San Francisco. The part I hate is getting bug bites when I'm in my garden. I like spraying milk for powdery mildew because it's harmless & it really works to combat powdery mildew.
I'm glad you mentioned ferterlizing , I can't figure out why my plants appear so stunted, but it must be the fertilizer. Agreed! Weeding is the worst, especially in the Pacific Northwest. If you know how to rid my garden of blackberry bushes - please share.
Hi marta it's a joy to watch your garden, i just can't get enough of your garden, i could watch it all day long 😀 I'm like you everyday after work I grab a coffee and go round the garden garden investigate if there's any slugs and snails and trim all the dead flowers. I've only got a small garden... wish I saw your program before before I started doing my garden. I just put flowers anywhere I've got a gap. You are an inspiration. I get so excited to watch your garden 😍
I love your garden and your videos! Thank you! I also hate weeding jobs in the garden and I enjoy deadheading and pruning - something so satisfying about it! I’m in zone 5b, Ontario, Canada 🌸
How beautiful! I am a novice rose enthusiast-Just started growing last year in zone7A of USA-I love watching your rose care videos so helpful and I’ve learned a lot from you-many thanks! 😍😍😍 I have a lot of black spots and yellow leaves though 😢
Love your garden Marta! Amazing selection of plants, flowers. Where are you located? You are world class gardener and presenter. Greetings from Atlanta.
Another wonderful and informative video. I’m always excited to see a new one up. Your roses are beautiful as well as everything else. I would like to just walk through for a few hours and take everything in. I’ve got to try the bubble gum petunias next year. I don’t remember the name of the tall whimsical flowers behind your lavender. They are so beautiful. I’ll go back and rewatch the video. I love how the wind gently blows them. What I love most I think is potting new plants/flowers especially ones I’ve started from seed. But any potting is enjoyable to me. I guess the least favorite is keeping the garden free from leaves, sticks, and weeds that pop up. We live in the woods so we have lots that fall from our trees and leaves in autumn time. I was so excited when some herb seeds sprouted this year. I think every seed sprouted. Today I potted them. It was so relaxing. I dug up a piece of hydrangea that had rooted from my big one a couple months ago. I potted it but it started to look so bad. My only hope was to cut it back almost to the bottom. Within days it was putting out new shoots and is looking beautiful. So I’m really excited about gaining new plants. Thank you for sharing your beautiful garden and expertise on caring for them with us.
You've a beautiful garden.wanting to start a garden but little bit afraid of planing the spaces for the flowers 😨not sure how to start it in the beginning.creating rooms is a really great idea for me😥 thank you for starting this channel for us.lots of love from Sri lanka💖
I love your garden! I'm so glad I found your channel! My favorite garden chore is edging. I also love to see a clean border on the flower beds! Sending you love from Indiana, USA! ⚘😁
Hi Marta you garden is beautiful and so are you. Can you tell me how often and how long you run your irrigation. We have had so much heat all my plants are brown. I don’t see one brown leaf in your garden. Thank you. I am in USA in New Jersey
I love watching your videos so memorizing such beautiful flowers. Its been so hot here in Miami Florida some of my rose tips get burnt before opening I love when we get afternoon showers it helps My orchids and plants not dry up I feel plants need more watering in this heat. Look forward to your next video.
There are so many salvias! The pollinators love them too. Your presentation is so professional and informative. Thank you ❤ gardening isn’t a job, it’s like caring for another child. A rewarding time.
Yeah I'm from Pennsylvania and I have 30 gardens at memorial Park in New New Kensington PA and my phone keeps going off so sorry about that but yeah I am out there almost everyday at least for a couple hours almost seventy-two years old so it gets a little harder but I do get some community service once in a while to help but I love it out there I love being out there and working on the gardens and I pay for most of flowers it's out there so I'm always buying it's like an addiction I'll talk to you later thank you for your show okay
Love your videos so much Martha. Such class and professionalism 😊. Gardening chores I hate are deadheading annuals…ugghh such a tidiest process. Can you please share you are using to stake your Annabel hydrangeas? Thank you.
I really enjoy your videos! Can you recommend a rose for my part shade garden here in Massachusetts, USA? I have a 20 year old New Dawn climbing rose in the one sunny spot and I love it. I would love more roses!
Dear Marta, I would like to ask you whether you do all the chores in the garden by yourself or does anybody help you? Thank you for your answer. Michaela
I have help twice a week for few hours. We work, the two of us together. I used to do it all by myself when I was younger and before my spine surgery, so it is possible, but takes a lot of time.
@@GardenwithMarta Dear Marta, I also have a big beauty garden and even though I spend there a lot of time ehmm actually every day😊because I love it too ( my garden is my second child😀as I usually say))I very appreciate my husband and son’ s help especially with mowing the lawn and cutting taller trees. Some people say that I am like a slave of it but if you adore it and especially you create it completely by yourself and you see the results later it makes me so happy! I wish you many charming moments with flowers. Michaela
I don't do good with roses they die in no time... I do much better with crepe myrtle, they are just as beautiful as roses, I haven't killed them yet , they are starting to bloom right now , so beautiful
