This book is Awesome! I love the Lean-To-Shed the most (page 98). The plan ua-cam.com/users/postUgkxe9yi0sulKgsp0VJJCIrLWWkvVqcU7LFR is to attach it to the back of my brick house. I also like how they walk you through the many different steps of construction, which is important for the less experienced like me.
It’s BEAUTIFUL! Just make sure that old wood has been treated for mold and the home has a dehumidifier to keep humidity levels consistently under 48% humidity. Mold can make you extremely ill and it typically affects little kids and small pets first. Mucus, sleep issues, food sensitivities, sporadic leg pains, easily bruising, bed wetting then neurological based symptoms after prolonged exposure. Our previous builder built our home with some moldy lumber on the framing and though it was remediated we didn’t have a dehumidifier. After living there two years we finally found out it was the mold/mycotoxins from that that we’re making our family very ill. Thanks be to God we found it out in time. I almost died. Anyway, I wanted to share with you guys in hopes you guys stay well. God bless.
Huge coverup on mold issues. Courts and insurance companies are complicit in hiding the real truth. There's tons of mold problems along the coast in California. I got insanely sick too in the house I bought there. The yard went on a downslope to the house. Absolute nightmare. Keep sharing how dangerous this is! No experts out there who assess mold damage either. Glad you survived.
I was continually complaining about this to my husband but he thought I was over reacting. I went ahead and bought a dehumidifier and I have to watch it because it fills up with water within days and shuts off. I believe we pull a quart or two of water a week from our bedroom. 😳
@@suzannejarvis625 It can be a bit pricey but there are HVAC units with built in dehumidifiers. When your unit needs to be replaced you should ask your A/C guy about it.
If u have 1 or 2 children this can be good for a family of 4. Expand if I need another bedroom wouldn't be hard. I hate heating up a huge home. This would be perfect
(@CJ DUNROVIN ) I totally agree. In my opinion most of these "Tiny Homes" prices are just ridiculous, it defeats the entire purpose. I love the idea of living mortgage free, though the zoning laws on these homes are quite a battle. Unless someone has a dwelling on property to place these homes, it's very difficult and almost impossible in most places to be a permanent home and live year round. Laws restrict it.. Obviously there are some exceptions in different States..
@CJ DUNROVIN I grew up in a home a little over 2,700 sq ft with a wood stove on one floor and fire place on another, and there is no way to heat a home that large properly with one pellet stove. Be very careful, we had a pipe burst in the coldest room in the house because of this.
Jori has completely captured the look and feel of country living with this home, even down to her pretty blue print dress. The home has a very romantic, cozy feel. I can picture her going out in the morning to feed the chickens and then making breakfast for her family. I love that they have actual bedrooms, no loft sleeping and that nearly everything is full sized with modern touches.
I lived in a trailer for a few years growing up as we fell on hard financial times. The thing is most people who live in a trailer don't take care of their trailer or area and it just looks bad and trashy. If they took care of the space and made it look nice and presentable then that stigma would be less. But 99% don't and it looks bad. She paints her porch 3x a year so it looks nice. That's the difference.

I think this would work if you live in a more moderate or warmer climate where you could use the porch and the outdoors as living space. However, I feel like living in this small space in a cold climate might underscore that whole "cabin fever" feeling. I have to applaud this lovely lady for making a very beautiful and comfortable environment for her family. I especially loved the little boy's room and I could imagine him sinking down in that fluffy mattress and feeling safe and secure.
i was actually wondering while watching his room..which she beautifully decorated..is how safe and secure is the home? Would it be hard for someone to break into? What if there was really strong winds? would the walls hold up?

We have been looking at these ideas for my mother in law who can't live alone anymore. We talk about skipping the kitchen idea, since she could just come into the main house. Instead just having a mini fridge and microwave (for snacks/drinks) Basically building her a bedroom/craft house. :)
Cute and cozy. Adorable decor, especially the little one's room with the homemade loft bed with slide, which is perfect for a 3 year old. Love this shed and what they've done with it. I respect her commitment to that white deck, but no way would I paint a deck twice a year (cuz I'm lazy lol). Thanks for sharing your home with the world.
Love this home, I would have loved to see the bathroom-also, I'm sure you've considered swapping out the king size bed for a queen or full? I think it would make the bedroom cozier, but it's tough to give up all that sleeping room. Your son's bed is adorable, great job, and I love, love, love the white porch!
What a very cool idea - so lovely and functional - great that their son has a place to grow into with the loft! Appreciate the tour - very inspirational, thanks!
Perfect, but advising a Queen size bed rather than a King. I have the same issues but now can at least slide in on one side to make the bed. Much less frustration this way.
I like the whole layout of the beautiful house. The double stacked washer and dryer are very keen setup. Actually having a full bathroom is a plus. All in all it is a very special house for any person to appreciate your efforts to downsize your lives.

Thank you for inviting me over! You have a beautiful home! May God bless you, your family and your home!
ADORABLE!!! LOVED THE BASKET ON THE WALL IN THE LR.
That was adorable!! She utilized every inch of her space!! Great job and what a sweet space!!🤗😘

We have been looking at these ideas for my mother in law who can't live alone anymore. We talk about skipping the kitchen idea, since she could just come into the main house. Instead just having a mini fridge and microwave (for snacks/drinks) Basically building her a bedroom/craft house. :)
this really made me smile, what a talented woman
This is just adorable! And the fact that they have 2 bedrooms and her lil pprch is just great!
Thank you for the lovely comment! 😊
Gorgeous... The house isn't bad either.
What a cute little place, they did a great job using all available space and it has many creative touches to it. Love it!
That ceiling is so warm...styled great...I love use of space...
Really like the kitchen.
A darling home! Such a creative plan of the space makes it actually feel roomy. Ty for sharing this dollhouse.
It’s so cute & actually really spacious for a tiny home!!! 🥰
What an beautiful house love the ceiling and the beams . Have a wonderful and blessed new week gorgeous Holly
I absolutely love the exterior and interior of this tiny farmhouse.
That’s absolutely beautiful. The white makes it so heavenly, fresh and clean
the fridge is adorable!
Wow this is the dream life for me so beautiful and
aesthetically pleasing
Absolutely adorable. So beautifully done, I could see myself living there!
That was beautiful and inspiring!
It was the full size Smeg fridge for me lads 👌🏼 a new fridge but with the beauty of a decorative vintage show piece
I LOVE the porch. The bright white, the breezey curtains, the gate. 💓💓
And it's a covered porch 😊 I immediately pictured my self drinking coffee on a warm summer rainy day.😊❤️☕☮️
This woman has an incredible talent for this style design. ❤️❤️❤️
Hi! I love everything about ur tiny house. The decor is great. God bless! ❤
Perfect, but advising a Queen size bed rather than a King. I have the same issues but now can at least slide in on one side to make the bed. Much less frustration this way.
And no room for a bedside table either.
Like where do they keep their clothes though? No closets or dresser. 🤔
Agree i'd go for a normal double. You'd still get a bedside cabinet in.
Absolutely gorgeous home and beautifully decorated.
It is such a credit to the owners.
I like the whole layout of the beautiful house. The double stacked washer and dryer are very keen setup.
Actually having a full bathroom is a plus.
All in all it is a very special house for any person to appreciate your efforts to downsize your lives.
THIS has Got to be my Absolute Favorite!! Simple Rustic yet with a Dainty little white porch!! The sheers are a Nice touch!! ❤
