yes Nor Cal is not user friendly But worth some effort...Stay the course...My truck camper changed the way I travel & I'm 10 years in .....Just part time now but good to have options. great v log =) Jp
There are tons of youtubers doing the "I quit my job and going to live in my van, truck, or RV and travel". What they all don't tell you is that they losing out on the opportunity cost of owning a home when they can still afford one. Like most vanlifer's, you will eventually get sick and tire of living in your vehicle and want the stability of a real home and by that time buying a house will be even harder. That's why I would encourage you to get into a home, townhouse, or condo as soon as you can because prices will go up. Buying a home right now is harder than ever for most Americans due to high interest rates and crazy home price appreciation. I bought my small 3bed 2bath home in San Jose California for 800K in 2019. Now it is worth $1.3M. Its all fun and games until reality hits.
I’m not worried about it lol. We are both young and the plan is to SAVE money so we can buy a home lol. We didn’t quit our jobs and in fact make more right now than ever before. And our business continues to grow. Seems like you just wanna brag that you’re a home owner and everyone else is silly for not making the same choice as you. Congrats on the home though!
@@shelbssays ok then. I hope you don't complain about housing price when the home you could have bought right now for 300k goes up to 700k by the time you decide to quit vanlife and buy a home.
the market is ridiculous dont worry about it. your doing the right thing. i wish i would have done what your doing at your age. I still hope to with my boy in the future @@shelbssays
