- "After the Adani Group hiked charges by much as 10-times at Lucknow airport, ‘turnaround charges’ at the airport have been raised drastically for private jets and international flights, according to news reports.

As long as UP have close to 35% Parliament seats all this will happen. Give me one link where some businessman says that Demonetization destroyed the business. I have friends in media. They tried calling many businessmen asking them to come on TV and explain how demonetization would impact the business. Not s single businessmen agreed. but confessed privately that its the black money which was impacted. Tata/Wipro/Bajaj/Taj hotels, those businesses who solely operate on white money, there was zero impact. Real estate suffered big blow, quite deserved as log of cash was used historically in real estate.

Parking charges at Ahmedabad airport has increased recently and Adani has the control here. Gradually flying by Airlines will be unaffordable because of these private entities taking over. This could be a plan for forcing people to take the bullet train @3000 rupees on the Ahmedabad-Mumbai route once it starts if Air ticket for same route costs 3500 to 4000. Currently it costs only 1500 to 2000. Gradually domestic air travel will be only for the rich and middle class will have to use bullet trains only.

Medical bills food job insecurity failing business is still going to continue considering our vaccination policy is a joke! Central Government and State Government employees cannot be treated as middle class citizens.
They get a hefty salary and they can spend.
The people working in private sector can be termed as middle class citizens (Managers, AVP and above excluded)

Buy an electric car and travel inter state… people have travelled 1600+ kms across the country and even to Himachal, Ladakh etc in electric 4 wheelers and they and the Vehicle returned unscathed… being the owner of a Bajaj Chetak electric vehicle, I can vouch for how well built even ev cars are!!.. buy them, travel with a smile on ur face!

Sir,you guys r not understanding....this is a well thought idea by them, because we know that sooner or later we all will go back to cities from villages very far. And for this, a common man will be ready to spend 5K extra rather than taking a train or bus doing a stressful journey (for far distant journeys). Hence, the middle man without any choice will for sure opt to go to airports. Hence, the companies will make more profits.
People have lost their jobs, savings have dwindled. Taking a flight will be the last thing on their wish list.
