It really is a cheap video. I reckon some UA-camrs today could do a video with better production values on their own compared to all the people that worked on this cheap ass video.
It does look cheap but Kelly was a novelty act so they weren’t rolling out a big budget for her. Also, if I remember correctly, Making the Video was here for this video and Kelly said the theme was her going shopping then it turns into like an homage British chat shows and performance shows from the 70s and 80s. There are several allusions here if you catch the references.

If you could measure talent, we would have only a few artists above 90%, but it doesn't mean anyone below it is bad, does it? I can sympathise with ozzy. I spent 600 on a guitar for my daughter. It now sits like a lost relic in the shed. Along with the balet shoes and the graphic design equipment.
Look I like this, time and experience definitely tells me it needed better mixing and production - her voice is so low compared to everything else - but I legitimately want Ozzy's cover now
