I recall an interview that Freddie gave where he said something to the effect that you have to carefully plan a concert - you come out and hit the crowd hard from the beginning then mellow it down in the middle part then ramp it up again for the ending - Queen were the masters of live performances, Freddie captivating the crowd and including them in the whole concert - at Live Aid, a 20 minute slot, they knew exactly what they were doing - right from the start hit them with your greatest hit thereby grabbing them in your hand from beginning to end = Masters.
Giving me chills so damm good ,the band was amazing,Freddy was supersonic ,the best concert EVER !!! Thank You for your reaction to this one ,I’m so happy !
It suddenly dawned on me that we’ve never talked about the “5th member” of Queen, Spike Edney. Spike played with them mostly on tour. He was a versatile musician doing backup vocals, playing guitar, and keyboard. Google him for the interesting story about why you never see him. There are pictures but I done everything recall seeing him on video. If discussed here before, I missed it.
deaf em, blind em and leave them wanting more....that is what they always said about the beginning of their shows and its just what they did!! I have seen this show many times and still the beginning gives me goosebumps!!
14:06 Yes! I've seen some bands doing it live (subverting what is expected of them) and i can only hope they keep going! Live is your own space!... Do it, nail it, trash it or crash it, just do it for your own sake!... if the public is great in musical feel, sooner or later they will get it/into it!\o/... if they don't... guess what? You've just gained a great live performance!
Hey Joe, sometimes I let it play all the way through allot of the time I don't. Its a reaction video so that is what I do I react how I am led to react to it in that moment. There is no set formula I just roll how I roll. Some people like it some people don't. Those who do like it can stay and those that don't can go its simple lol. There are a million channels on UA-cam so to each to their own. Thanks for sharing your opinion though and for watching allot of my reactions I appreciate the support!! Much love!! :-)

An example here is just into the 3rd song of the concert and Freddie hits them with an anthem where the crowd participates - Lap of The Gods'.
