What the hell happened to a CC button on the remote. My new LG takes 28 clicks to use this option. What the hell, we don’t live in the 19th century!
I just bought this TV today. Absolutely ridiculous that they don't have a simple subtitles button. Had I known that beforehand I would have bought a Panasonic.
Your explanation/demonstration should be included with every sale pf LG smart tv's...Excellent.
What an absolute joke in terms of the route needed to get to sub-titles.....I will avoid buying anything so long winded as LG tv's....Best wishes, Alan.

Is it possible to move the subtitles from the bottom of the screen to the top. When I pause the subtitles get covered with the info bar so I cannot read it. I am trying to learn a language by watching tv but thus a problem now.
Dint have a subtitles option only closed caption and its off but still cannot get rid if subtitles

I have no option for subtitles on my lg smart tv. I want to watch something in Spanish, but have the subtitles in English and I can’t set it up.
I have the same remote. Mine doesn't say subtitles, it showed closed caption. Can't get rid of subtitles. And voice recognition isn't letting me either.
I don't want a mini menu. LG is infuriating I want subtitles off when i say "subtitles off". Thanks for clip though

Ridiculous not to have a dedicated button. LG ..come up with a software fix that can allocate one of the coloured buttons to do this

This is the dumbest way to turn on captions. All you need is a button on the remote it ain’t that hard
