  • This knife is a collaboration between Daniel Winkler and Kevin Holland, US Navy SEAL (ret.) and US Army Special Operations (ret.).
    Kevin’s expertise as a military operator, as well as a skilled trapper/outdoorsman, resulted in a knife that is not only effective in tactical environments, but provided utility when required.

    I like that one with the maple scales. I have three different Winkler's, i really like the rubber scales that he did. I only have one with the maple scales, but the rubber ones are so comfortable. I have the original crusher, basically his belt knife model with a tab of steel on end of handle with rubber scales, my favorite! A operator with rubber scales, its actually on my hip right now. And the last is the field knife with maple scales.
    You definitely have a great hard use knife there, heat treat seems to be spot on also.

    A little too thick and 80crv2 loves rusting, even oiled up and stored, 80crv2 is a knife users steel not a collector's steel

    Love it, I need a winkler. How’s his 80crv2?

      These knives are like an M1 Garand Battle rifle from WW2. The wood and 80crv2 develop a patina that is very cool over time with use. They are a strong knife. Mine are all very sharp. The operator is kind of like a steak knife. Try and hold some of the different models.

    They appear to be top quality, not gonna lie the $350 price tag is nauseating
