I bet your landlord is going to miss you guys. It’s rare when a tenant leaves a place better than they found it!
Hopefully their landlord is like one I had several years ago. He allowed my husband and I to live in the home rent free on the agreement we would fix the place as we lived in it. He also supplied the materials! We got very blessed. As the jobs became easier he just based the rent according … he/we were grateful for each other … 😌

I wanted to let you know both my grown daughters have installed invisible fences because their dogs were also runners, and they work fantastic. The dogs learned very quickly where the boundaries are. Max will be kept safe❤️

That rent home sure looks SO MUCH BETTER than when you moved in. Can hardly wait to see what you do with your new home.
Transitions can be uncomfortable, but this looks like a great move for you and your family. Here's what a friend did to lable her boxes. She had several colors of tape, and assigned one color for each room. Yellow for kitchen, etc. Then you can see where things go at a glance.
I did that with a cross country move back in the early eighties. It helped with the movers knowing where to put things so we could easily access the items and get them put away after we cleaned each room.
Your plant is a philodendron 🪴🪴 your steaks look so yummy and I definitely feel you on the packing up and moving to a new home! 😊

Beagels are great dogs, but they want to hunt! Ours would trail a rabbit and bay then back trail and bay all night if left loose. We lived in the edge of town, but I'm sure it was annoying to our neighbors because it was to me! Keep him safe till you have a better situation for him. Love your kitty too.

Great video Valerie! Looking forward to seeing your renovations on your new home. The plant you reported is a pothos. They are great houseplants. I have several. They are easy to root too. If you take cuttings from the trailing vines, you can pop them right in the dirt and they’ll root easy. Also, your fiddle leaf fig. If you had a box big enough for it, you could tape packing material around it, lay it in the box and then put more packing material around it to keep it still inside the box. Just make sure you give it a little water before you start out. I d order plants from far away and that’s how they come and they have always arrived just fine. Hope that helps.
Your pathos plant(the one you repotted) is very hearty. I still have mine from 22 years ago. It was given to me and my husband when we first moved into this home. You can make more very easily. The little nubs on the vines are what you soak in water and they root from there. Lol Granny has a heck of a sweet tooth lol. My grandma does too lol. I can’t help but laugh. I’m my grandmas caregiver. She lives with me. She’ll be 90 next month. I’m only 47 next month. If you need any pointers or ideas for things to help your mother in law just ask.

I had a Basset Hound who would do the same thing they are hunting dogs like Max and when they pick up a scent they make a run for it, pretty soon a big yard!! Your Fiddle Leaf Fig looks great I have been growing one that started as a small plant it is 3 ft tall now but leaning so I have to figure that out..Love plants!
Moving is a big job you have to just go with the flow!!

It Did Not Seem Like Y'all Had A Lot Of Stuff Until Y'all Started Packing Up, And Then It Wasn't That Bad. That Living Room Furniture Looked Amazing And When You Valerie Said That You Gave It Away I Was In Shock, I've Had To Leave Somethings Behind When Moving And It Was Hard And So Sad And That's Been Year's Now But When I Think About It I See That OUR HEAVILY FATHER HAD BETTER AND BIGGER PLAN'S FOR ME AND MY FAMILY AT THE TIME , AND GOD BLESSED MY FAMILY WITH BIGGER AND BETTER THING'S FOR US, GOD KNOWS WHAT IS BETTER FOR US🙏

Using your kitchen and bathroom along with pillow cases towels and winter clothes to replace the bubble wrap and tissue paper can save you a few hundred dollars that will might want for your new home. 😊

The plant looks like a Pothos plant. They grow really good. And long too. I had one at my desk when I worked and it grew really long.
Dinner looked really yummy! Steaks on the grill are so good. The coffee cake was a nice sweet ending for your evening. Sometimes the best meals are the simple ones. I suppose everyone told you that your house plant is a Pothos. They are so easy to grow with little care. A home with house plants is a happy one. You can take clippings from it and start new ones too. Profigating it can be done in water until it has enough roots to be planted in soil. Peace hope and love

Valerie I have the Best marinade ever for those delicious steaks:
Mix the following together -
1-Tablespoons Dales
1-Tablespoon Soy-sauce
2-Tablespoon Worechestshire sauce (wash your sister sauce) 😂
3-Tablespoons of A-1 Steaksauce
Place mixture and 1 piece of meat in a ziplock bag for at least 3 hours before grilling. Flip bag over in fridge every hour. You will not be sorry you tried it!
Happy Grilling and I can’t wait to see the new place come along.
P.S. minus the snake! I’m petrified of them too!

When you do invisible fence(electric ground wire) for pups, keep flags up for 2 weeks. Walk on leash, let get zapped a bit, they learn from beep to stay away. Good luck👍❤️

You know you can use butter in place of oil, right? Equal, if 1 cup oil, use 1cup butter. It makes your cake taste like a " chefs cake". It's delicious. I always do that. Plus one extra egg more than recipe calls for.
