It’s not that low so I don’t think so but I never have people in my car so I have no experience there lol. Feels just like stock but a little lower & feels a little tighter on turns.
I want to lower mine, wasnt sure if it would be too low, but that gets rid of dead space 8n the wheel well, looks good, and i wouldnt feel like id scrape.
You should wrap the “chrome” piece up front black to match the rest of the car and tint the orange reflective things on the side it looks much better that way
I'm not sure about that. The GT does have sport suspension from factory so it's probably different if I had to guess. There should be options for your car though.
The springs are all you need but you'll want to get an alignment right away especially if you plan on getting spacers as well. It's also my first time lowering a car & I wasn't aware of how necessary it is to get the alignment checked but it was probably thrown off even more by the spacers.
Unless you have a warranty on your suspension they can’t just void your warranty for lowering your car. Even if you make a modification to the engine that doesn’t automatically void your warranty. They have to be able to prove that a modification caused the issue that you need work for.
@@jimbobspov true but they know how expensive it would be to fight them on it in court. I wouldn't want to try to fight that battle. Cost more than the car...
What spring you go with and where they a perfect fit??? Also did it void warranty by any means ?
I also got a sporty blue Forte GT manual. It's fun to drive!
Will this rub with 2 people in the back also how is the ride quality I really want these it makes the car look so much better

Blicky ty for all these Kia forte gt videos! I got a black 23 gt2 in June I’m def doing this I have an eibach springs in my city too
No problem man! Glad I could help.
Also can you give a link to where you bought the coils and spacers
Springs from Panda Motorworks & spacers from Garageline.
Why the spacers? Wouldn’t the lowering springs do the job?
@@DC3Maddento make a flush fitment
Are you planning to install a front lip or a body kit?
👆
Yeah I’ll be getting a lip kit sooner or later.
Did you notice anymore drop after the springs settled?
No, it’s pretty much the same.
I own the same one but white pearl color 🎉🎉🎉
The after is how my stock 21 gt looks without being lowered. Your 22 was really high.
My car looks the same as all the pre 22 GTs I’ve seen with the same setup lol.
your 21 is higher than you think. They all have the same curb height.
I’m high right now

I’ve only scraped a few times on shitty steep curbs. It’s a solid setup for sure if you don’t feel like spending coilover money.

Been wanting to for a while but I don't feel like doing it myself & messing it up or paying someone else to do it right now.
So now it has been awhile since you have done this how is the ride quality and are you still happy with it
Feels pretty much like it did stock. I don’t have any complaints.
Looking at doing this. How is the ride compared to before?
It feels pretty much the same as stock.
@@jimbobspov I was hoping it would smooth out the standard feel
Have you experienced any rubbing on the fenders after this?
Not at all & I have the ones that were technically made for the Veloster/Elantra before they started making some specifically for the Forte lol.
How’s the reliability in this car so far?
I’ve only had it for 6.2K miles so as should be expected, I’ve had no issues.
I think that should be the height from factory tbh
I agree.
do “you” “think” going another half inch in the front & rear works?
People have dropped these much lower on coilovers with no issues if that's what you mean, so you definitely could.
how much was the install?
I do not remember. I had other work done at the same time & it was done by a friend who gives me a good deal.
Nice.
What brand of lowering springs did you use ?

@@DC3Madden they're not necessary. I just added them for the flush fitment.
Really nice. But my wife won't let me do that to "her" GT. She said I already have my lowered toys.
Lol unfortunate!
Nice car just to damn small
It’s a Forte, what did you expect?
I can't lower #greyice becouse the kia dealer in Florence Kentucky said they will void my warenty
