Don't watch and listen on a phone. Put it on the big screen loud with speakers. Magical moment sonically and visually .... and watching the chemistry band members too was actually quite beautiful
Oh it's that time of year again. Today I came back because Angie McMahon's LAV today made me swoon, and smoke signals is probably the last time I felt like that listening to the J's
You know there are website out there if you copy the link to this video, will convert it to MP3 to download, I use it all the time for hard to find songs on iTunes, or if I like the live version, like this one.
does anyone in the comments like You and I by Margaret Glaspy? I've just come from there to here. It's a different sentiment but Glaspy's rasping, squeaking, and just playfully fun guitar work is wonderfully expressive.
This version is beautiful. It's raw and natural and just brilliant. Cannot stop playing it. Whole album 'Self Talk' is so worth the time spent listening to it.
It's kinda crazy how much I love this and how little I like the album cut, everything is washed out and overly electronic on the album, here you get to hear each instrument, her voice is much more present and authentic, and the synth stuff is just a layer of ambiance that adds depth instead of dominating the song. God I love this performance, it's just too damn good.
I was talking about a pad that comes in at 0:42, but on rewatching, the drummer triggers a sequence right at the start that has another synth line that runs under the entire song.
5 year update: I'm still in love with this particular recording of this song. God it's amazing.
Isn’t it funny that I’ve come to check it out yet again, half an hour after you’ve commented?
@@willbeasy2898 There's just something magical about this particular version of it. I'll start a support group in 2026.

Nearly 3 years later and I'm still obsessed with this recording of the song. It's just bloody perfect.
100% Hard agree, I don't like the album recording nearly as much, I just keep coming back to this.
@@FatGuyLittIeCoat oh man me too. This is the canonical version, it's just perfect.

Beats the album version by light years
There's a whole synth line through this that nobody's playing. Seems kinda odd.
The backing vocalist is playing it.
I was talking about a pad that comes in at 0:42, but on rewatching, the drummer triggers a sequence right at the start that has another synth line that runs under the entire song.
This song is awefull .
So is your spelling.
сдается мне это чистокровная фанера
Her playing is pretty impressive considering her long nails. #slavetofashion
