Vanessa watched her mother beaten by her stepfather as a child while herself being abused by the neighbor boys next door. So like many victims of child abuse she ended up in an abusive marriage. She knows the anger and hatred a person feels after being preyed upon. But when she found God, she found new strength, and eventually a happy healthy marriage.
