You’re so right we definitely need each other. Being a parent is hard let alone a parent of a child with special needs! It can be an emotional roller coaster! Love the video! The girls in the dance class was the most adorable thing everrrrrr 💗
Having a friend pregnant with a Downs baby girl, I watch your videos for inspiration. I hope the mama will be able to have the outside help that is so needed but our town is small, and the next biggest city is 90 miles away. Thank God, for UA-cam!! You and Naomi are wonderful!! 💗💗
That little girl in the changing room was adorable waving to Naomi but I guess you didn't SEE her? So sweet how little ones gravitate towards each other. ...
My daughters therapists always said the best therapist my daughter would have would be her siblings and it’s so true. They loved to be involved and help encouraged her.
We took in our neighbors child with down syndrome who was almost 9 when Covid hit. After testing from experts he was told he would never read and his mom was crushed but I told her I could tell the experts were wrong, days later Covid hit and we let him homeschool with us while the parents went to work and his school was no longer an option. In three months he was reading 45 mins of chapter books a day and we didn't work with him on reading more than 45 mins a day but we RAISED expectations(did Logic of English style phonograms and rules flash cards/books/songs and PLAYED with numbers with games like Swamp Sum or jumping outside with chalk or even dollar three sticker books) and got rid of common core timelines and busy work that wasted his time and let him be rewarded with MORE free time and things he choose, same as my kids who get their work done and worked hard(even if they didn't fully get it that day).
You are absolutely right, we all need each other. And your videos are so much appreciated. I also have a 30 month old son with ds. We learn a lot from you. Love from Nigeria.
I would love to feel her level of happiness. If you could all be like her the world would be a better and happier place. And I would love to have your weather too. It still gets down in the 20s at night where I live and we have a change of snow and freezing rain next week.
I just love Naomi. Such a sweet and delightful little girl!🥰 This is preparing me for my little one’s arrival. I’m sure it will be challenging, but we can do it!
Thank you ! Your video pushed me to finally find an OT from my 4 yr old daughter, who so happens to have an extra chromosome too. She started OT again in April 2021. She had been without OT since 2018 and we could never find a therapist for whatever reason. Thanks again! Naomi is adorable!
That's a very good thing that the pool is heated, haha! Our pool is always so cold (it's obviously not heated because it's outdoors and it's hot all the time here...but because it's in the shade from the apartment building...it's too cold for me! haha). She's learning so much!
So insightful! I loved watching a slice of your day with your lovely little family! Loved watching the Ballet lesson! So sweet ❤️Love from the Cotswolds ❤️
im just gobscmacked how often you do therapy,,,ill be lucky to be seen once a month, and thats just physio. never mind OT i didnt get that yet and my son is nearly 4 yo and he only had speech 3 times in his life he has been sick a lot lately so we missed a month already.
The fathers are never anywhere to be seen when it comes to homeschooling and caring for children - especially with special needs. All unpaid, very difficult labour.
Aqua therapy looks amazing!

And I am not good at writing, as you can tell, thankfully my kids did IEW and are much better at communication in print. LOL

So great! So many great activities for Naomi! So cute in the leotard! 😍😍 thank you for joining in the collaboration! 💜💜
I agree, learning life skills is so important! I think we miss that sometimes when we push our kids to learn academically so early now days.
Thanks for taking us along with you through your day. I love that Hannah and Naomi take dance together.

Oh no! That's crazy. We are already into spring mode. Where are you?
@@LivingWithEve We are in the mountains in North Carolina. The next two weeks have days with chances of snow and sleet. It's 30 here right now.
Really! That’s crazy. Wondering now if the cold will move down here too.
I just love Naomi. Such a sweet and delightful little girl!🥰 This is preparing me for my little one’s arrival. I’m sure it will be challenging, but we can do it!
Yes you can do it! And everyday you fall more and more in love with them.

Oh man, that's hard. I would cut the tree, get some sun. Do you guys get a lot of leaves in the pool?
@@LivingWithEve It's not a tree casting shade, haha, it's a 19 story apartment building. lol! :)
@@SevenInAll oh... lol😂 I totally missed the tree thing. I guess apartment building don’t shed leaves,
I love seeing other mom's schedules! Thanks for sharing!

Hi. Did you see that Angela braniff is using
Happy to Learn with her daughter with Down’s syndrome?
No, I'll have to look.
Dads should be mentioned cause we matter.
Would like to see your husband join in!
He hates being on camera and honestly hides when I turn it on.

That is true, in some cases, but they do make excellent principles.
