  • Welcome to our little family! We are so excited to share our adventures with you!
    Come along with us as we take you through a short day of what it's like living with Tourette's syndrome. We hope that you can take something positive away from this video as well as maybe learn a thing or two. Thank you so much for checking out the video!!
    The music we use is from Epidemic Sound. Feel free to check them out!
    www.epidemicsound.com
    The songs we used in this video are-
    The Right Thing to Do (Instrumental version) - Andy Delos Santos
    Paradiddle Paradiddle - Jobii
    Toss the Salt (Instrumental Version) - Sionya
    Garota Paulista - Elevador
    Disclaimer*
    As you may notice I do have Tourette's syndrome which is a neurological disorder that causes me to make repetitive movements and sounds. I want to be transparent with this so it doesn't cause any confusion. Thanks for understanding!

    I just think if people knew about this it wouldn’t be near the issue for you. You have so much going for you I’m sorry you have to endure this.

    Dang you brushing your teeth and trying not to drop or choke yourself with your toothbrush was the most personal thing i had ever seen. Only us ticcers know the struggle ❤❤😂
    Edit: the thought that ppl are always watching you is SO MEEEE. Sadly, I was right a few months in a row because some kids in my Spanish class would stare at me LEGIT THE WHOLE CLASS PERIOD. THEY WOULD NOT TAKE THEIR EYES OFF OF ME. now it would not have been a big deal except I asked them multiple times not to stare and explained TS in detail. Smh.

      Hahaha that’s awesome! I love the comparison. Yes you are so correct! That’s so sad, I hate when people can’t just be understanding and move on. Thanks so much for your support! You’re awesome!!

    Where r you from? I got fascinated about Tourettes after learning about Bianca (channel: B with Tourettes). She has a pretty aggressive Tourettes, you obviously have quite the control of your tics in comparison to hers but still I can imagine how hard it can be to feel self conscious everytime you're in public. Keep us posted, it helps a lot with awareness about this disorder!!

      Hello! We are from Michigan. I have seen some of her videos as well, she seems to cope with her Tourettes in a very positive way! It has definitely been a roller coaster with my tics but, I have since been able to get them under control and have been very pleased with things have been going. It can still be a struggle feeling self conscious about what others think of my tics. I have spent time teaching myself to not worry about what others think and try to be informative to others. Thanks so much for reaching out, we plan to post again very soon as life has been pretty busy lately! Much love, -A&M❤️

    Maybe looking at a flickering tv screen isn’t the best idea . It sets off other problems with people prone to flashing images .

      Thanks so much! Yes that can definitely be true, as well as with adhd. I fortunately do not have to deal with either very much at all!

    I don't know why but some people think this is a fake syndrome (seen it on video comments) I guess it's because of the element of control that you can sometimes have over tics. So do you fancy covering that subject in your video?

    • @RosarioTV
      @RosarioTV 3 роки тому +3

      Yes it's TRUE some people think it's fake a d joke about it. But it's not a joke.

      It’s very unfortunate that some think it isn’t real. It is very real. I appreciate you bringing that up as well! As for covering the topic, my main concern is to spread awareness and maybe bring courage to others who have Tourette’s syndrome as well. So all in all it doesn’t bother me to much to cover it in videos. Thanks again!!

      Lmao Fr imagine thinking you’re so smart that you, a person with no knowledge on the disorder at all, can determine whether it’s real or not. Like they Fr be trying to say a neurological disorder, that’s been recognized since 1885, isn’t real.

    • @meganandandrew9881
      @meganandandrew9881  2 роки тому +1

      Why thank you!! As of right now there is not a specific cure, though many medicines and OTC supplements as well as behavioral strategies have been found to help control tics! Thanks for the comment:) Much love - A&M ❤️❤️
