That's hilarious. Maybe time travel has been invented many times, but it's such an immediate disaster the machine always gets thrown in the trash 😂 too funny 🥰
This reminds me of a show where a character creates a time machine and says "don't worry if anything bad happens I can just travel back in time and destroy the time machine before I can time travel and do anything bad" then his future self appears and destroys the time machine
If everything could happen at once, then why does the puzzle of life have to play out chronologically? Could it not be arranged in a non-linear, non-sequential fashion? I do love short stories. Issac Asimov said a well crafted short story was a thing to behold, and quite a few books were really short stories with an extra hundred pages of filler tossed in. Elron Hubbard said short stories were the bread and butter of early science fiction, though he found it quite easy to take a good short story and elaborate it into about a thousand pages or so, and quite lucrative to do so! I hope time travel is impossible, it's bad enuff to put up with re runs on t.v.,never mind our daily lives turning into repeats too!
All these comments about quoting Einstein are people trying to be clever or copying other clever comments. Real cleverness is realizing he already found a way to get young, hence his knowledge of Einstein, also there's a nod to the lights going on and off as the film starts, meaning he's already used the machine, but it must take his memories, which is why he's having a hard time remembering his own name...and that he's already time traveled and found a way to become younger, but is stuck in a time loop until the woman tweaks it and the lights come back on. Well done filmmakers and everyone involved!! Fantastic. (A good time travel movie confuses the masses, makes the smart feel clever, and the clever look for deeper shit that might not even be intended.) A+
Ughanotherone Ofthesenames your just reading too much into this. It's just a movie where actors take liberties. First off that's a Ray Cummings quote and 2nd Tesla thought Einstein was a hack so why would he quote him. At least this made you feel clever for a short time.
Thanks, pleased you like it. There are so many sci-fi short films, I'm sure there are more than a few entertaining ones too! I'm making another sci-fi short next year set on a spaceship so come back for that!
Made on a shoe string. But boy, entertaining. I chose the busiest time of my day to take a look, and for 10 minutes I didn't move. And "Shhh" was my answer to everyone. BRILLIANT
Room 88 was great to see a second time. I know that it's only Theory and all but if anyone had figured out it would be Mr Tesla! Why he didn't keep that woman around though is a mystery... Just like those Lost notes...!
This is a BTTF reference. For those who don’t know, there is a 1985 film with scientist Doc Emmet Brown. And the Time Machine is made of a delorian, when it hits 88 MPH is goes back/forward in time
People complaining about leds or the Einstein quote are missing that one of the time travel tourist is about to say how much time it took to the scientist to build the machine: "72..." I guess it's 72 YEARS, so the scientist has used the machine many times, went to the future and this is actually happenning in the past. Or has already happened many times and this is some kind o time loop. Anyway, well done.
so, i think it's a paradox...when he was (i'm not sure about the timeline) deciding NOT to continue his experiment on the (prototype?) time machine, it never exist, and those visitors from the future never did (do?) any time traveling...i like this plot...

I found your film to be very entertaining. The humor and irony you had in the film was great. Going along with the theme of the movie, I can imagine a future where time travel is as common as going into a travel agency and booking passage on a cruise ship. One could imagine that one of the more common destinations would be to "visit" the inventor of time travel. So, The poor soul in room 88 inadvertently turned himself in to a tourist attraction. One of the best parts was when he looked through the peephole and said "They're forming a line out there." You can be assured that your money was well spent. In my opinion.

I think interactive time travel would screw up history. Or. Once time travel is invented...it was always possible. History will become fluid. Early humans will see modern humans, mimic and develop earlier. Ancient Egypt could be an industrial nation. Flight discovered sooner. Time travel discovered sooner. Round and round it will go. I fell in love with the young woman
Ya it's really good actually. Good acting too.
Did anyone else, besides me, realize that the room # is 88 because Doc Brown's DeLorean has to hit 88 mph before it can travel through time?
Yup, I caught that too.
@Slomofogo: Guess that makes 3 of us now.
Yes, first thing came to my mind
Great Scott!
and 88 is the sign of infinity x2
its 88 sideways is infinity tines infinity.. thats the original souce of 88
He has already time traveled. When he refers to Einstein quote (which he did not say) is the proof.
Excellent film. Love it!!!
Smart man. Thanks for watching
He did say he cheated time long enough before fucking up the space time continuum. So he already used it.
Edit: he was shock that people knew him also as tesla clearly indicates that maybe he fake his own death and has a new life thats why he kept telling them dont call me that name.
Young Tesla quoting Einstein seemed a bit odd.
Actually, it was never stated as a fact that he was Tesla.
They once asked Albert Einstein how does it feel to be the smartest man in the world? He said I don't know, you'd have to ask Nicholas Tesla.
Exactly what I was thinking.......🤔
Yeah, Timeline, what Tesla said, and Tesla's young age does not compute...
If you remember the beginning of the film, Tesla says that he has"Cheated time", and doesn't want to be called Tesla. Then he offers to make an old man young. It seems to me that in the film, Tesla has had a very long life indeed.
I travel in time constantly, in fact, all the, erm, time.
At a rate of 1 second per second.
Yes, as do we all....
My bed is a time machine, every night I can achieve jumps of up to 7-8 hours into the future.
I am a shapeshifter too! I used to be a foot tall with a big ol noggin and stumpy pudgy little limbs.
Tristan Cooper psssshhh that’s impossible if you travel 1 second per second then how could you not bump into you self in another time ha explain that
You warp threw time every step you take.
I don't think Tesla would stay in room 88, it's not evenly divisible by "9"... ;)
lol i wonder if he was really that maniac
He was. hahahaha
but it is double infinity when turned on its side.....
Chris Christenson *right* 😂😂
