30-06 still my favorite all around hunting caliber. Shoots heavier bullets faster than 308, and has plenty of power for hunting all north American game, might be on the light side for the biggest costal browns though. The 06 isn't the coolest, latest and greatest caliber but still gets the job done better than most, over 110 years later!
My uncle still had his 06 from the Army. Mauser action. Only took 2 bullets with him & always came back with 1 for big mule deer. Open mauser ramp sights. Out to 200 could nail bugs. Most shots 100 yds or less.

Do you happen to remember where you found these remington premieres ? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks again.
What is that ammo? That’s the first box of 30-06 I’ve seen in a year and a half!
Generally if you don’t mess with the wasp they don’t mess with you. Unless they’re yellow jackets, I hate those things.
Hope you get a reasonable price for that ammo in the US. Here in Alberta it’s $73 a box n with tax $76.65.
i think it should be pronounced as chirocconot sure tho😅, and thanks for the vid always awesome and fun, tc! 🤗
Who bought out the Remington ammo brand after Remington was dissected and screwed over by the CEO? I hope they make better ammo than the old green.
Would love to see you try the Remington Premier Scirocco 30-06 in 165 gr & 180 gr
Seems like Remington ammo has stepped their game up a little. Too bad your hat doesn't do as well as your Ruger American.
At 1:41 is my favorite all time video from you The excitement from little man
Me too
I have the same Ruger American in 30-06 mine loves the 165 grain bullet
My 700 really likes 150 remmington ammo. I will have to find some of them.
What ammo have you seen the best performance out of for your Remington 700? Do find that it has any different tastes than your Ruger?
That's like reloading accuracy from factory loads can't beat that
