- I've never been interested in competitive Pokémon, but after talking about it with my friends I got interested. So in this video I... "tried", you'll see why I'm saying it like this, out some competitive Pokémon. I didn't enter an official tournament or competition, this was simply a friendly match against my friends. You got internet right? Then use it. IDK I google or do research to see what is the top ranking teams. And build off of that. Just by doing that alone. Can assist you further into understanding competitive. As to what works, what doesn't what pokemon is being used the most. and so on.
literally everyone who crys about this nintendo bans players who cheat controvery is so dumb. you just dont have to gen your mons. get your 2nd copy, cheat in EVERY item in the game and then start breeding..... legit the point of "before a turney you change your team alot" is not valid since you can just give over IVs with a destiny knot and a ditto... so you need like 3 dittos. 1 with 0 attack IVs 1 with 0 speed IVs and 1 with perfect IVs... maybe a 4th with both speed and attack 0. but thats it, after that point you can mass produce competitive pokemons with little effort. are you "abiding by their rules" yes since all pokemon are bred and they dont have any cheat rests, are you saving a ton of time? hell yes
Not that I've personally genned in any pokemon, but why would I spend $120 and spend hours of my time to create a "legit" team when I can spend 30 minutes "cheating" them in. There's tons of new QOL features which makes obtaining a legit team much quicker, but it still takes quite a bit of time to get bottle caps, mints, breeding, and EV training. Even with Dittos and destiny knots it just takes a lot of time. I'll just stick with showdown myself.
@@dogsmog9720 legit 120$ is nothing compared to other games :) also you dont have to go to official tournaments if you dont want to abide by their rules, but crying about not abiding the rules and still going therre, is a bit too much
