One of the things I love with organs is they are one of the few (if not the only) non-electronic instruments that can go so deep it makes your bones vibrate.
I love this played on this virtual organ so much. I think of it as my heaven going music. Alas, no one I've ever sent it to responds with great enthusiasm - so I'm glad you're all here!!
A strong powerful music played on a strong powerful instrument. A match made in heaven. I felt my heart tremble and my eyes tear up at the immense strength this was transmiting. Simply beautiful. There are no words to describe how I'm feeling right now.
+Raiigen Gott schuf den Menschen und die Erde. Der Mensch schuf die Musik um Gott auf Erden zu finden. God created mankind. Mankind created music to find god on Earth.
Simply magnificent. Could be described in a myriad different ways, but for now i make myself satisfied with saying this is as close to a time machine as we have ever been, for it really does feel like time stands still while listening to this.
Douglas Porter a lot of professional Hauptwerk sample sets have these button noises. Everything from the blowers to the sounds of the keys and then to the stops.
They record the organ at the console so the experience is exactly as though you are at the keys of the organ, which obviously includes any mechanical sounds the organist would encounter. At the end the pedal growl was fantastic, every pedal stop apart from two flute ranks was drawn.
Thank you for this moving piece in the voice of my old home town of Hereford. Although I'm now on the other side of the world as a schoolboy I sang in the choir of this magnificent cathedral. :-)
And it never will be. According to the hologram as you see above all four section of the keyboard you have to play simultaneously and in addition you also change the many sounds at the same time. So I have doubt that if two people can handle this either?? Don't think so..
That piece came out quite good! I love how you can hear the ranks or wind chests open and close when you set the stops. That's a nice touch in the program.
Neil Woodward 'Virtual' One person alone couldn't play all those things at once, unless he/she has 4-5 hands/arms, so it probably hasn't been played in the cathedral, at least not this thurrowly, however I do agree that it sounds fantastic.
Erstklassig! Ich würde mir wünschen, den "Music Box Dancer" von Frank Mills einmal auf der Orgel hören zu können. Wonderful! I would enjoy to hear Frank Mills "Music Box Dancer" played on a pipe organ in this way.
You are not the only one! Very powerful piece of music. Brought to my mind the release of a loved one's soul from a broken body and merging with the Divine for ever. Great piece of work very emotive and invocative.
I take it that this is envisaged as a duet for two organists, as at one point all four manuals and pedals are being played at the same time, and no amount of trickery of playing two manuals with one hand would be possible! I think are prefer this over the original, but then I am an organist!
Thanks for the great video! Question can I load an organ in hauptwerk with a stepper already engaged at startup? I know I can auto load an organ when hauptwerk starts but I can't figure out how to also load a combination of stops ready to play automatically. Thank you Please chime in with any ideas.
Could you make the midi file you did available? The Hereford is one of 4 different virtual organs I play on my organ. I'm not a great organist, but love the power of the instrument, so I play a bit and continually tweak my organ setup.
Yes, but if there is a real "streaming" connect, Bach certainly did have one (or many), though he was just a church musician and not of the sangreal, or was he, a stream without a bloodline.
Best when listened to with good headphones! really ? - Oh NO ! Organ with headphones is like driving a Ferrari at 60 mph speed limit. Try some old fashioned really big speakers with lets say 0.5 m^2 subwoofer (like Infinity 9x) and feel! the organ with the whole body. Close your eyes and start flying on the bass-waves .....
Awesone ! I use Hauptwerk too, and i try to readjust this song for Skrzatusz organ. But the level is hight ^^ I think i will obtain help from a friend for that. The midi file is not available ? This could be a good starting point... Or just in private message ?
Pff Headphones. How would my Neighbours ever enjoy such magnificent Music? No, I use a 5.1 Surround System to ensure the maximum hearing Experience because I am a Considerate Neighbour

It’s why I class Hans zimmer as a modern day motzart an absolute genius of a composer

I am still loving this to bits. Listen every night! It's my aspirational music ... X
This really captures the Fr Willis organ sound of Hereford - thankyou for posting

+Raiigen Perfectly expressed!!!

RamandaLifeTravelm..
With an organ, the song sounds beautiful. Get goosebumps just right.

You know it's a serious simulation when you get the "fwoom!" of all the stops slamming shut. Amazing sound.

I probably comment here monthly! I've sent this to at least 4 different people, and none of them love it ... Glad you others are here! X
I would really love to hear this inside a dome hall, I love it!

Thank you for this moving piece in the voice of my old home town of Hereford. Although I'm now on the other side of the world as a schoolboy I sang in the choir of this magnificent cathedral. :-)
This isn't even done on a real organ yet I can still feel my core shaking just listening to it.
And it never will be. According to the hologram as you see above all four section of the keyboard you have to play simultaneously and in addition you also change the many sounds at the same time. So I have doubt that if two people can handle this either?? Don't think so..
Oguzstyler With a bit of tweaking, it is fully possible to be played by one person. Though it would be difficult
I'd so....love to hear that in Hereford!!! It's my favourite Cathedreal by far.
my god, this IS music . . .
That piece came out quite good! I love how you can hear the ranks or wind chests open and close when you set the stops. That's a nice touch in the program.
The perfect piece of music for an organist with three hands! ;-)
Simply THE ART of the best sound ever!
Touched by the hand of God.
That's from the film The 10 Commandments
Genial, impresionante, cautivador. Gracias
Wow, absolutely incredible
EINFACH GEIL!!!!! THX fürs Hochladen!!!!!

What a beautiful piece of music!
Om Shanti Om 🙏🎶🌟
C'est très beau. Thank you.
That works really well, dare I say I like it better than the original.
Wow, ...what an ending !!! Wonderful.
Me encanto...maravilloso...gracias.
My grandfather used to tune this organ.
Now we know who to blame.
I bet the music sounded fantastic in the cathedral!

Wonderful!
If I could grow four arms like the DaVinci drawing, I could play this.
Just beautifull!
mooi gedaan dit keer met hauptwerk
I love this song

Is there a better quality sound recording? (Flac or ...)

If you like, I made a little cover of this arrangement.
Some unexpected notes, but excellent work nonetheless.

Pero que tambien tenes que tocar con los dedos de las patas??? porque veo notas que con dos manos no alcanza che...!!!!!
Headphones 👍 🇳🇿
Jesus Christ, look at this thing.
How is one person supposed to play that?! XD You need more then 10 fingers, and they have to be very long...
bueno
You need 4 arms for this🤣
Шикарно! Но в живую не сыграешь! И концовка хлам!
На органе я имею ввиду.
Harmonically nice but melodically weak. Room to grow.
Ha ha, well yes he is indeed a master who just composed the entire music piece on two chords A minor and C Major in the key of A minor.
