- Swapping a 11-14 mustang interior into my 05-09 mustang,
Dash is a direct swap with no modifications needed, keep in mind that I’m doing a full 2014 swap into my 05-09 so the whole car harness is just plug and play, no 3v harness anymore that’s why the cluster works as if it was a 13-14,
If you planning to swap a dash into ur 05-09 all u gotta do is swap the 05-09 dash harness into your 11-14 dash and good to go, you will have to modify the face cover for the stereo and a/c buttons tho.

Did you have to do anything to get the Heater Core / Hvac Ac Heater Box to fit ? I've heard you need to cut the firewall....
Are the 2014 gauges direct plug & play with the 2008 gauge harness?

How plug and play is this? I wanna do this with my 07 mustang
How did you go about getting the headlights and taillights working? Only problem I’m having did you rewrire to the 05-09 plug for tail lights and how about the headlights I have a 14 donor with hids and I’m kinda stuck
That’s a headache brotha, u will need sequential tail lights since the 11-13 are sequential, and u will have to do without the turning signals, and figure out what wire does what with a test light,
That’s how I did it,
But I think there’s a guy that figured out but had to do bunch of relays together
The headlights are easy just turn signal, rerouted to the turn 05-09
And low bean and high beam wire 🙌🏼
So tail lights is gonna be my problem what if I have a set of tail light harnesses for a 12 would it plug in then and I have signals and all just make the connectors fit for my stock tail lights and I can go from HID to 05-09 bulb style that easily? Or easier to retro fit everything to the 05-09 headlight housing (saw your older video with them retro fitted) but wasn’t sure how you went about that and if you need the headlights you started with or can I use the factory 3v headlights with the chrome dish in them?
And how many wires for turn because I see 7 in the harness I’m crap at electrical if I’m being honest I even have the wiring diagrams and I can’t figure it out but maybe I should worry about that when I finish up the interior and be able to put power to the car
Like I say use a test light, have someone inside ur car and tell them to turn, break, emergency, and of course running light and also reverse for u and u see with ur test light what wire does what, (1 thing at a time) u gonna leave 1 wire out without use, u will have break, emergency, running and reverse lights except turns for now till I figure something out and I’ll make a video for it 😭

Where are you located my G ? I’m doing the same swap . Few questions. Did you have change the glass in order to swap the regulators ? And what modifications did you have to do to get the shifter and e brake in ?
Also does the 05-09 fuel pumps have the same connector or will those need to be swapped too . Will the brake assembly have to be swapped as well . I’m still collecting parts and will have to go back to the tow yard where the donor car is and grab some parts I left behind . So thanks ahead for your input
No modifications needed for shifter or e break, and same glass, different window regulators
@@bobayagga2233 you will need to swap the fuel tank out of the 11-14 as well, they’re different, swap everything from the 11-14 and when I say everything I mean it

If I am doing just the interior swap just dash and door panels do I have to swap the wire harness or can I just swap the dash out and use the same connectors
U will have to swap out your original dash harness and modify the center of the dash for the radio/ac remotes and stuff.
Did y’all have a problem with the swap cranking up after I have 2013 I took everything thing off it and put on my 05 and now won’t turn over like no power to the starter I can here the starter relay working but no start
No, but Check your connections underneath the dash on driver side, the grounds too, but ur probably should be on the driver side dash on the 3 main plugs that connects to the harness coming from engine bay
