Sir mujhe ek chij NAHI Samaj araha hai normally agar koi b motor star connection hai to uska current Jada hota hai or usi motor ko hum delta connection karte hai to current Kam hojata hai to star delta connection m star m current q Kam leta hai

Over load relay is set according to line current because motor is runing in line current ..here star is used only for Reducing the starting current by reducing voltage methode so answer will be line current
Sir , I think how much percentage of line current is drawn by the phases in both star & delta configurations , that actually matters . Moreover , the OLR itself is part of the starter power circuit whereas Nameplate current is nothing other than the full load line current drawn by Motor so that I guess that 58% (1 by root 3) of the FLC while running in Delta , is the setting which I have practically seen . Star Connection not to be considered being only 33% (1 by 3) of the FLC .
My understanding may please be reviewed & acknowledged Sir . But I am still eagerly waiting for your excellent explanation Sir .
Your practical observation is absolutely correct. But think & explain why its so?
However, I will explain it with fuse rating concept.
