Thank you everyone for your helpful comments! I have updated the title to more accurately reflect the content of the video. As the saying goes, "the best way to get the right answer on the internet is not to ask a question; it's to post the wrong answer." I apologize to anyone who felt mislead by the initial title which falsely indicated that this video might have actually been useful to anyone.

This is what happens when you give a mechanical engineer a soldering iron. I have updated the title to more accurately reflect the content of the video.

Wow you really ham fisted your way through that non repair! If you look, the top side, through hole connections, where the power plug is are all ripped from the board. You need to get the legs of each pin connected back to the traces on the board and with enough material that it can handle the current and strain relief. Good luck!

One of my favorite sayings is
      > There is never enough time to do it right, but there's always enough time to do it over.
I've definitely been guilty of this (especially if you allow "time" to mean "time/money/tools/parts"). Good luck, do things methodically (don't try to "get it done"), take breaks when it gets stressful (because that's when mistakes happen), and practice techniques on trash electronics before risking a $20k part.

Yep. This was a desperate attempt to get this done in one day in between running the kids around and feeding them dinner. If I'd had a whole day to sit down and do it properly (including researching the proper tools first), outcome probably would have been different.

you can buy used units for under $10k or as little as $500 for outdated units

Yea your solder is not flowing through the hole. Need more heat and flux. On those types of connectors they are both the mechanical and electrical connections.

Remove all the old solder and use good quality flux alot of flux and your solder temps are low

It's super obvious that the solder pads for the power plug are ripped and need repaired. I'm sorry dude, but you need MORE EXPERIENCE!!
