Great review from a “real” golfer. I use a similar driver (Ping G400 Sft) and it makes a huge difference. So tired of reviews from scratch + golfers complaining the hook the ball too much and can’t shape their shots.
Hi, I slice a little still and looking for something to get it straight a bit, would you say a draw driver helps that? Don't want to fork out all the money to find it doesn't change a thing, thanks
Thank you for the quick review. Every other video I have seen on this club is done by a pro/semi-pro that already has a straight shot so I have been having a hard time finding someone that is able to tell me how much this club has or hasnt actually helped them.
I got one of these used after watching this video. I was constantly slicing to the other fairways and OB. Even if I aimed all the wwy left so that the ball hit the fairway, it would only go 120 yards because of how much it was slicing from left to right. I can confirm that this immediately helped. I hit is for 2 weeks and was so glad to finally be abke to hit driver on par 5’s. I went to 2nd swing and got fitted for a shaft last weekend and now my drives are carrying 260 and rolling to 275. Definitely worth the purchase. (Buy from 2nd swing and they will fit and swap the shaft for you for FREE)
Thank you for explaining this in leymans terms. I picked up a used Rogue about a month ago to replace my 13 year old bargain driver and set it to neutral. I put probably 30-40 yards distance on my drives but continued slicing the heck out of my drives. I'll have to make some adjustments and hopefully I can have the same results as you!
I go to the range once every two weeks and play a round every two weeks. I have bought so many training aids and viewed so many videos and I still can't fix my slice. Good to see a review by an average golfer with a slice and no a pro. Might just pick this up
I had a nasty slice for 2 years when I first started golf I played to it every hit I had 3 lessons and my slice was fixed I actually began to shape the ball the way I wanted eventually developing a slight draw. lessons in a year I went from a 27 handicap to a 12 eventuallygetting down to a 5 in 2 years. major fixes was my grip and swing plane.
I bought a draw rogue and it took a round before i tamed the beast. It hits straight now, but at first i had a couple go wicked left 40 yds and due east. I have only had it three rounds then the winter hit, i will try it again next yr.
this is prolly the only review ive watched that i actually bought into. the problem with watching pga pros reviewing clubs is that of course they will get the advertised results, theyre scratch golfers. i wanna see someone like me who slices a driver 60 yards on to the wrong hole use this club and it seems to have worked for you and my shot shape looks a lot like yours. i just bought one and well see how it goes when i get it here
Thanks! I agree. I bought it after watching videos, but most pros were already drawing and just showed more draw. I figured it would work, but as a very infrequent golfer, I don't have much expertise to share. My problem is that I tend to keep the club face open after impact on woods specifically. I can work hard to compensate, and I might hit a driver straight, but I NEVER draw woods, no matter how hard I try. Now, there's a bit of a catch with this driver. When using my normal swing, it keeps the shot centered with a slight fade. But it can start making me feel too confident, and I can be tempted to overswing by the 5th or 6th hole and will produce a pretty big slice. So, it can be sliced. It's just hard not to get complacent as you can feel like you don't have a slice after a few good shots.
@@claypro5046 yes and no. helped me square the face but my swing path was the major contributor to the slice. draw clubs help very slightly to close the face during swing but do nothing to fix your swing path
@@KlutchTurkey well I've gotten some luck by making sure its in the D setting on the neck of the club and hitting more of a power fade. It starts out to the left and slowly land back in the middle 70 percent of the time. This has really worked for me
I purchased this driver 1 month ago (July 2021).... $300 at Dick's. I'm a lefty and have a fade and want to start drawing the ball for extra distance. I tried adjusting the head to the draw position and delofted the face to 9 degrees. I fade/slice the ball worse with this club. I've only had it at the range thus far, don't trust it for a round yet. Ended up going back to my old cleveland driver (10+ years old) and still playing the fade in my weekly league. Oddly, when trying this out at Dick's on their simulator, I was hitting some nice draws. Starting to wonder if their simulator is not so accurate.
@@petervonpanda I got a callaway mavrik max 3 wood and I use that over my actual driver cause I can actually hit it straight lol rather straight in the fairway than an extra 50+ yards hitting behind a tree 🤣

I'm pretty pessimistic about golf "tech" but I might just have to pick one of these up. Thanks for the video.

You can replace the weight with a heavier weight if you need more draw bias too!

Nice club... but I think I'm more impressed with your golf ball tracking graphic... Pretty cool!

Great review! Thanks for sharing, Peter!
I have this club face and it even sits slightly closed. Move your hands forward a bit and this thing is a monster. I hit drives 300+ carry

Peter von Panda fortunately for me, i tend to have the same 40 yard slice no matter how hard i swing lol

Golf clubs with a beauty mode! I put a suppressor on my driver and a muzzle on my guests. Cheers
Great vid now I'm buying
Still using it?? New update?? Did you gain any distance as well??? Thanks
this is a huge dub
Best review ever!
Well, now you're my favorite!
What settings do you have the club set to?
Control it with technique!! Bingo
Thank you
what kinda distance do you get with it?
Does anybody know what shaft that is
This was posted while I was playing lol

What settings is the club in.
D -1 on a 10.5°
Didn’t realize you play golf. Do you also slice with your 3 wood?
I do. I was looking for a drawing 3 wood but I guess most only make it in a driver.

Stay behind the ball.
I'm a Ping guy and I can average 300 yards with my driver. It's alot to do with the Shaft Panda you know that!
No. Trust me. I have it
I don’t think it’s your woods. You need an instructor to help you with woods. Normally companies don’t sell clubs that slice. lol

Your coming WAY over the top and the club face is open as soon as you start your backswing. You need lessons.
Thank you
