Watching this as I up pot my lemon balm, bee balm, hyssop, mint, and St. John’s wort… my husband walked by and heard you say “one lavender plant is enough” and he looked at me and emphatically said “ONE”.😂😂 Your content is amazing! I am so glad I found your channel!
I love these 4x8 garden plans that you are sharing. I've sent the flower garden plans links to several people, which have started fun conversations re: color palettes. Also I'm feeling better about the number of flowers I am planning...esp. all those dahlia tubers I bought...
@@Blossomandbranch We shall see - I bought a whole bunch of tubers 'just in case' 😉. Today I need to check the big bunches of tubers I stored in the root cellar and see how my fist storage experiment is going. I feel like in the fall dahlia people will be meeting on corners, opening their trench coats and whispering 'I got some Bluetiful, Advance, and Bumble Rumble if you need it' 🤣
Hi from Australia! I only recently started watching your channel and I love it. I found your videos while I was watching Epic Gardening, and I am happy I did. Thank you for this wonderful information about herbs. I will definitely be planting some Holy Basil! I didn't know that it had so many uses. I have grown at least some herbs for 40 years, but I have only recently discovered even more herbs and plants that will benefit our health, such as yarrow and mallow.🌼🌺🐨
Thank you so much for your plans, planting, succession, seed starting and everything you show. I have learned so much from you and this is exactly the type of garden I’m planning now, so thank you so much.
Did you have any cultivar recommendations for the roses? Thank you for the awesome video. This would have taken me a few hours to research through spacing and heights and then to decide on this and that. What a blessing to the community!
Thank you sooo much for taking all the guess work out of starting a medicinal herb garden. That’s exactly what I was looking for! I have watched your channel before but this time I subscribed. Keep up the good work for us newbies❤
I'm so glad I found you. Thanks for a marvelous video. At :15, in the over view, in the covered bed 2nd from the top, is a beautiful spreading plant with red flowers (?). What is this darling?
Thats fabulous I'm uk but have all f those except the hyssop I look forward to how to use them I have never made tincture or salves and would love to I do make vinegar oil and ice cream
You might want to research specific roses. Some are better for rose hips or rose petals than others. Species roses are normally the best for hips like Rosa pomifera or rugosa. Old garden roses like the centifolias are the best for rose petals.
I just want to let you know I was internally screaming when I saw the title. This is what I’m looking for!
Oh yay!! Keep an eye out for the salve recipe we make from a couple of these plants! ❤️
Me too! For my 17th century inspired physic garden bed @portridgegarden

Hi! Thank so much for this video! What rose varieties would you recommend?

Love this!!
Can you show us how to dry them out and how to start lavender from seed successfully?
This is so helpful!!!
How about the just hyssop “blue” Hyssopus Officinalis? That’s the one that I have. Is it also eatable?
I bought true hyssop seeds… is that similar to anise hyssop?
Are these also ones you all plant after last frost?
Plz do a video on how to stratify seeds and which flowers need it
I typically just look up which seeds need it-but I assume that native plants do because I live in a cold area that freezes over winter!
Thank you so much! What kind where these peachy roses?
Those are lady of shallot ❤️
Is there a source for seeds you recommend?
A regular doctor would have no idea about plant medicine
