I watched this video before going to do blood test and I was still terrified since I have a huge fear of needles. It wasnt even that bad! Now that I watch it after, I feel relieved.
I’m scared of needles. I’m 12 and I had a screaming/crying tantrum getting an iv put in at the doctors. The fear came from some crappy hospital in Sudan (I don’t hate Sudan, the hospital was just very crappy, and it was in Sudan) where the nurses kept breaking my veins by aggressively squirting the fluids in as fast as possible causing the vein to rupture or swell because of the pressure. Either that or they kept accidentally sticking the needles in places that didn’t have veins or just straight up breaking the vein my penetrating it with the needle of the iv. Every time I cried or winced they told my parents I wasn’t normal and I’m not a baby, and I shouldn’t be crying.
I'm twelve as well and have to get an immunization at school today. I don't know why they would mix two of my least favorite things together but last year they had to pin me down.I'm scared
I overcame it and was ready to be vaccinated for it to be the worlds most painful shot I ever got. My sister who isn’t scared of them got it to and was also talking about how painful it was and where it shot starting bleeding so now the fear overcame me 😭😭😭
When going into 6th grade I had to go get 3 shots and I’ve always been afraid of shots so the when my mom told me I had to go to the doctor I knew I had to get shots because of my older siblings and freaked out
One time I had a needle in my vein for almost 24 hours waiting for a doctor. I swear it bent. Only for the doctor to dismiss my medical condition and only check me for 5 minutes. And of course like doctors do, tell me it’s because of those pesky female hormones (it was not). So now I’m scared of needles and the doctors.

As a girl who has juvenile arthritis I understand why people cry when there getting shots its really scary but I’m used to it and labs❤
I can’t overcome my severe fear of darkness
I overcame my fear of heights and death
But not the dark
I overcame my fear of darkness, heck I sometimes even sit in a pitch black and dark room for fun, but needles really makes me have a panic attack 😭
