Thanks to Davids help for the diagnsos on the bad struts. He said that since I could feel everything on the road, (its like riding on just coil springs, bouncing down the streets. swaying back and forth like a boat.
After going to Advance Auto Parts and picking up the drivers and passenger front quick struts. I watched a few other youtube videos and seen a comment that the quick strut could be replaced without removing the lower or upper ball joints. So I figured it was enough time for myself to replace both front quick struts. The drivers front took approx 3 to 4 hours and the passenger took approx 1.5 hours.

I also have a 2008 nitro and your videos have been very helpful. Greatly appreciate it!!!
Your welcome. Glad that you enjoy it.
Awesome vid buddy!! Very straight forward and well explained! Thank you!!!
I have a 2008 SLT… noticing a squeak etc in rear end so figure I’ll replace shocks before springs.
your welcome
Good deal bro. Just got an 07 R/T I plan on doing alot to so your vid’s been helping :)
Your welcome
Glad it helps
Hey there. Your videos are awesome. Question. What were the symptoms to make you wanna do this? I have an 09 and the rear is bouncy. Well more bouncy. Advice?
Mine is somewhat bouncy too
After replacing the shocks I’m thinking I need to do the rear springs also. That’s my guess
Damn I removed the top control arm bolt and now it’s a b to get back on
It’s a pita
Also curious, did you torque the bolts with the rig unloaded?? I been reading about this, because I been asking of why I feel every bump, it's no luxury car but damn I feel all bumps. Also curious if your car got a big lift after replacing front struts
Everything was torqued on the ground loaded. May have not been done right
Usually new shock will raise any vehicle
I noticed that I believe my passenger rear spring is weak and prolly needs to be replaced
I’m. Not a mechanic and out suvs suspension is still off I think because of the spring in the back
sometimes it’s best just to buy a new car
I just got back and front replaced but one issue is I feel every single bump, not sure what my mechanic could have skip if anything, I have read a few things but I'm not sure
Maybe weak coil springs. I know mine had a weak passenger rear coil spring because the vehicle leaned to that side
Has anyone replaced AC dryer/ drier, 08 Dodge nitro
According to nitroforumzs.com
“The A/C drier is located on the left side of the A/C condenser. You will have to remove the front grill and the left radiator air seal to get to it easily.”

👌
thanks for comment
thank
Your welcome not sure if it the correct procedure but it worked cause I was getting the upper and lower control arms replaced
Nice video, what the hell happened to your axle. Thanks for skipping things
My suv is a 2wd.
I didn’t have a front axle
How often do you usually have to change the springs
According to Firestone
“, there’s no set schedule for when you should replace your Nitro’s shocks and struts since many things can influence the wear rate and severity of the wear. Bouncing, swaying, or rocking forward and backward can all point to issues with your Dodge Nitro shocks and struts. One of your best bets is to have your 2008 Dodge Nitro suspension shocks and struts regularly inspected by a trusted technician.”
So don’t replace it unless it’s broke.
You will feel bouncy, sway back and forth, etc
I still have a bounce which I think maybe due to the rear springs🤔
