I do think I’m healing right I am 8 weeks post double mastectomy and my left and right looks so different and I have a lot of chest heavy feeling and underarms pain is that normal?
I found a red light therapy wrap that I used three times a day for pain for about 4 months! It really helps but whether or not it was a placebo I will never know! But it worked for my pain like warm comfort! It was only $39 on Amazon : the best $39 I ever spent! Great for the numbness too!!

I’m curious. Why are all your videos only showing you above the breast line so no one can see your upper torso in the video for reference? I had an esthetic flat closure non nipple sparing but I have an extremely supportive husband who has made me feel completely comfortable in my “new look”! Sex is still ecstatic with my loving husband! It really does change your life if you have a man that loves you for who you are not for your body! It still took me two weeks to look full on to my breast post surgery. I looked in the mirror between my fingers like you would watch a horror movie because I felt like it was a horror movie! Now I look in the mirror 6 months post and see a slight bit of beauty again in my flat torso! It has been the journey of my lifetime.
Oh! I have lots of videos that show my breasts--many of them are from this year. If you look at the playlist called 2024 you'll see them. I even took my shirt off in a few of them. Also, I have shirtless photos in my instagram account at @a.breast.cancer.diary

I hear it from a lot of us, and yes, me too! It went away by the end of month two for me, but it varies for folks. Hugs and healing!
