I was just thinking about the new windshield you had mentioned when I commented about your badass bike. I like the wrap you did on it, too, makes it look much better!
And the windshield isn’t even the end of the fun yet! Wrapping the bottom really makes a huge difference to me in the styling. I’ve never been a fan of completely clear windshield so I had to leave my touch! She looks super clean!
Looks great Mick... I put a Memphis shades on my Hugger. It doesn’t protect me from the wind the way the original did but love that I can remove it in seconds and go naked, definitely worth it.
looks good i have a 2019 heritage and have been blacking it out too. i noticed that you have lower fairings on yours. how did you do that? i would like to add them to mine.
Which is the hand guards you have? I see an earlier video that shows Amazon and that goes to $27 pair and this one shows a $78 dollar pair not on Amazon? Just want to have quality
Nice vid dude, I think I'll have to get one next fall. I take my shield off most of the summer, but once it gets cooler id like a little more protection.
hey man, just discovering your channel. I've got the same bike. Did you ever notice air coming up from below and the sides of the tank with the stock windshield? If so, did it go away with either the freedomshield or the Klockwerk? I'm struggling with this.... thank you.
Thanks for the question! Both the freedomshields and the klockwerks helped a lot with the wind but after having all three I definitly prefer the klockwerks windshield over all the others. It helped the best and being lighter but still strong it has the best performance. Hope this helps!
I really dig this project that you did. I have the 2019 and am considering doing the same, including the vynil wrap. Thinking the 20" I am 6' 4" tall and feel i need that extra. On the black wrap, what is the material on the rider side look like?
Thanks, she’s my pride and joy! And the 20” would be perfect. The vinyl wrap is matte black on the other side to not have to worry about reflection. I installed it that way on the advice of the shop I bought the vinyl from where the adhesive is on the windshield and the clear makes it look gloss. A little bit of sun and all the air bubbles (all were tiny) found their way out and it looks beautiful.
@@TheMotorcycleMick Thanks for the tip! I have the heritage in the red/ crimson red/ black scheme and as you said in another video on the new FLHC - good balance between black and chrome. I am a new rider and this is my first bike. I like your content especially things geared towards new riders. Thanks for the reply have a great 4th!
I own a 2018 FLHCS and want to put a taller screen on it, so thanks for the video its given me confidence in purchasing a new screen. On a different note what are the brand of the leg protectors or wind deflectors you have fitted to your bike?
I'm not sure what size to get. My hight is 5'9", & thanks to your info OEM is 17". Should I go with the 20"? I ordered the fork wind deflectors. Thanks for the detailed video.Your bike is beautiful, & keep up the good work. RLTW
Looks great, and did you use vinyl wrap or contact paper, and if wrap where did yo get it. I've got 18 Heritage 114 too and love the bike and have been blacking it out since day one. I want to replace the windshield as well and Clearview has one where they provide black masking for the bottom half but like the Klock Werk's version too. thanks!
John Iacoviello I used 3M vinyl on the bottom, I got the wrap from metro styling up where I live but any shop that has vinyl should have it, really easy to apply too! I like the Klock Werks vs my other ones because of the style and the function of the shield. Outperforms my freedomshields which is comparable to clear view. I would say go Klock Werks all the way and if you don’t want to put the vinyl on yourself, ask how much a shop would charge. Probably not more than a few bucks
That looks really good, Mick.
Thanks man! I thought the original styling brought back a really cool look and ride back to the bike, thing works like a top!

Badass man! Looks great with the vinyl bottom and totally removable if you ever need or want to!!!
It really makes the look of the bike, I fell into the blackout everything but making a “resto-mod” looking harley is turning out awesome!
Thanks for always making me hungry with your sign off.
Haha, I think that’s where it all started was me being hungry and listing off what I wanted 😂🤣
The Motorcycle Mick yeah it doesn’t take much to get my inner (and outer) fat kid going.
Dave Howard I also know that feeling 😂🤣
Literally installing the same shield this evening in mine UA-cam is on it haha
The windshields are cool and all, BUT that Vegas H-D tshirt is what it's all about!
I have two of them, and they are some of my favorites! I should’ve wore my Paris France one haha
Looks great Mick... I put a Memphis shades on my Hugger. It doesn’t protect me from the wind the way the original did but love that I can remove it in seconds and go naked, definitely worth it.
That’s the great part about quick detach systems, they pop on and off fast and the Klock Werks windshields look great!
Sweet windshield!
Well done mick. Looks good dude !
ANONYMOUS BIKER USA well, low key not done yet...have a part getting painted right now 😉
That looks really good.
Thanks man I really appreciate it! Next weeks gonna be even bigger
Looks great! I was wondering if the shield hits any part of the passing lamp or headlight assembly. Thanks.
Did they provide the windshield?

They are awesome man! They feel perfect while riding at even high speeds 😎

Looks killer man
Road Rash HD thanks man! That sporty is sharp as heck too
Glad you got #klocked lol I love my klockwerks windshield
They are awesome, lighter yet stronger and put the wind where it’s not going to bother you!
Looks awesome man!
Adventures of the bearded Bobber thanks man! Had to put my own touch on her and turned out awesome!
The Motorcycle Mick ya it did!
Adventures of the bearded Bobber they make shields for the challengers 😉
The Motorcycle Mick I’ve seen. I need to talk measurements with them. I may do that in sturgis.
I’m not saying you have too....butt I know you’d love it
Where did you get the black rap from

Did you go with the 17" or 20" ?
I went with the 20” tinted, it’s perfect!
Your what 6 ft? I’m 5’7 might have to go with the 17”. Love your channel too I’ve got the denim black and grey 114 heritage
Aaron Walker that would work perfect! And that denim pair on the heritage are beautiful! Love my 114

John Iacoviello no problem, and thank you for watching!
Looks damn good. Amazing what swapping a shield does to these scoots.
Jason Breedlove it is, the whole look of a bike changed by a quality piece of plastic. And this Klock Werks shield fits the look perfect!
Nice work. Im suprised you went with chrome braces, not sure I like'em but hey it aint my bike. lol PEACE!!!!
Patrick Hatrick I’m getting some HD photos done this weekend with the new fender, once you see it, it’ll all make sense
@@TheMotorcycleMick aahhhh the master plan unfolds....... lol I'll be watching. PEACE!!!!!
Patrick Hatrick it’s always a master plan 😉
