So classic I have a 2004 Corolla and had the same problem and I did what you did and my compressor kicked on. 🤙🏻🙌🏽
Nice good job!!!
I just followed this video to a T and it worked to perfection! Ice cold air conditioner works like it was brand new. The vehicle I just used this trick on was a 2004 Toyota Corolla.
Nice good job!
I was just having this issue especially the summer is around the corner, I was getting worried. Thanks man much appreciated it 💯
Nice job!!
Thank you so much for creating this video! You saved us a very expensive trip to the mechanic. The AC wasn’t working in my 2003 Toyota Corolla (it’s about to be summer in Texas (which is brutal))and this trick really worked! Thank you for saving my wallet and my summer!
Nice job!! Best part is u were able to follow my
Video and do it urself!!! Good job!!
I did exactly what you did and it worked perfect! Amazing!
Ok good job well usully these relays fail or get stuck open position even tappin on them work some times
You are a lifesaver. I put a manifold on and the readings were equal so just figured a bad compressor as the car is a 2003. Just happened to see your video while doing research on how to replace the compressor. Figured why not amd gave it a try. Yep you were right. New relay from Toyota and AC is just like new.
Nice job!!! Good fix and original relay will last years
Wow that was my exact problem in my 03 matrix? Thanks for this video you saved me a compressor and a lot of hot California days
Cool glad u found my video
Just came across your channel
Trying to help my elderly Dad whose Corolla has no working A\C.
Must try this tomorrow
Cheers from Sydney Australia mate
Oh ok update me what u discover of if u need more help this is defiantly the start
@@RBTheMechanicThank you. I definitely will. I did have a quick look before it got dark to see if the compressor was running and it definitely did not. I did have a mechanic look at the car and his first suggestion was to change the condenser. With me not knowing to take his word I started to UA-cam it and came across your channel. I’ll definitely put into practice every thing you suggest and report back
Thanks mate
My daughters 2005 Corolla had the exact same issue, thanks for sharing!
Yup nice !!!
Hey bro I can’t thank you enough but you save my moms car from boiling this summer 😅, thank you so much!!!
Glad the video helped u fix ur mom’s car!!!
This was sooo coollllll!!!! Thank you. 92 degrees today, worked yesterday. Watched your video, turned on with AC off. Turned AC on, compressor didn't move, opened fuse box, wiggled fuse, BOOOOOOMMMM WORKED Drove around block, coool freessshhh air! Thank YOU!!!
Nice job!!!! I think the relay may have engaged from movement so if it fails again I would replace the relay!!
awesome!!! you are like a master AC diagnosis. Thanks forsharing video
Thanks buddie!!!
I'm just literally try it and it does work. You help me to save some money. Thank you man👌🏻
Nice good job!!!
thanks for the video, my mechanic said that the A/C compressor is very bad, that it has to be replaced and that it will cost 1250 dollars, and I will find your video and fix it with the car, and a few dollars
Yup wat yeah make model is ur car I can send u like for video if I have it on that make model
Thank you so much for this video, you just saved me money and time
Glad I could help!
My 2004 Corolla had the AC clutch go bad, however it only fails after the engine has warmed up to normal temperature. I liked to never figure it out, all the AC components were functioning fine when it was a cold engine. The clutch coil would get hot and then fail. I replaced the clutch assembly, not the whole compressor for $45. Now my car is working great.
Nice great job!!
Did you have to recover the refrigerant for that job? My 06 corolla is doing the same as yours I thought maybe the expansion valve but can't tell for sure.
@@jackwilliamson1929 not for the relay
@@jackwilliamson1929 If your car is doing the same, check the AC clutch coil while the engine is running at normal temperature. Apply 12 volts positive to the wire leading to the coil as the body of the compressor is already negative grounded. I used a simple wire from the battery. If the coil is functioning properly, it will engage the compressor. If not then there’s the problem. By manually applying voltage directly to the clutch coil, it should engage. Again, this problem only occurs when the engine has been cooled down for several hours. No I didn’t have to open any refrigerant lines, just replaced the clutch. I liked to not figure it out because it was intermittent. I hope this helps. Btw, check the relay for a clicking noise when activating the AC switch. A bad relay will cause the clutch not to work also.
Thank you Friend! Appreciate your video
Welcome
OUTSTANDING!
Thank you
Tried it & it worked. Tanks
Good job!!
Thank you foe sharing
Welcome!!!
I asked Mr. Beast to give you a shout out you deserve it let’s hope he listens
Thanks man it sure is getting hot.
Yeah ease it the same issue
@@RBTheMechanic yes this was my problem. Thanks.
@@timothymajors4176 welcome!!
Thanks for suggestion
Welcome
It worked. Bam!
Nice job!!!! Bang zoooom super cold!!!
The lights will turn off if you pull the emergency brake up before starting car
This is actually video?
Thank you buddy
Welcome
The old hit it with a hammer trick. Pro tip: hammers are for nails, not electronic car parts.
Tap. Not slam it with sledge hammer bro
Will this cause your engine temp to spike hot? 2003 Toyota Corolla - I was driving home and the AC just stopped working. As I was checking the controls, I noticed the engine temp spiking Hot.
Well if ur as was running that could cause over heating if the fans don’t work .. so start with check if both fans work with ac on
@@RBTheMechanic Thank you so much!
@@HealthyMBS1 welcome
Hey man, i have a 2013 corolla and im trying to locate the condenser fan to see if it's running when i turn on the AC. Any idea where it's located?
Not sure if 2013 have one or 2 fans if it got 1 fan it same for radiator and ac if it got 2 the right one is for ac condenser
@@RBTheMechanic ah yes I looked it up and it's just the one fan for the radiator and condenser. Doesn't seem efficient to me to only have one!
@@zombiemontage yeah I though Corolla had only 1
Hell ya, thanks it worked
Good job
I have a question my friend.. is it normal when ac compressor cycles on and off??
c dose cycle on and off
Thanks
I got the same problem with my Corolla ac. Just for any reason not working not more i do the same on the video i buy the relay and nothing happens.. my ac works fine and this happens like said i do everything and nothing works
Did I check pressure and power in ac compressor?
How do I identify the relay for the AC from the fuse box?
It will say ac or magnet clutch
@@RBTheMechanic thank you !
Hitting the relay did not work. Switching with the horn did not work. I ordered a new one, but it might not Be the relay. Still not blowing anything.
Not blowing anything? Or blow but not cold?
@@RBTheMechanic not blowing at all.
@@shadesofsylar then this video is not ur issue at all u need to check for blower motor issue ur blow motor is not working check fuse relay for blower motor also put blower motor on high speed max high and check power and ground to blower motor connector also if u punch the motor some times it comes on that mean bad motor
@@RBTheMechanic I'm limited in my mechanic skills. I don't have tools. I may need to bring it to my mechanic. But at least I will know what to tell him. I did change an ac fuse under the hood a long time ago and it worked. The one that is off white in color.
One of the holes is linking
Huh?
What was the name of that fuse
No name in fuse goes by amp and size and color
which state r u in
Replaced relay ac compressor still not turning
Did u check fuse and ac pressure?
@@RBTheMechanic where would the fuse be ? Thanks
@@andresabrajan7469 under hood fuse box
That will be 1,500 dollars
Nope only dignostic charge and relay
