@@ZuluLifesaBeech- I 've been practicing model flying when I was young(...i.e. avery long time ago!)and after I had the opportunity to make flying my job.It's a great occupation for
youngsters and that keeps them away from what they have no interest in.I just hope your son will keep interest in this activity,becoming an engineer or pilot(may be both) and
enjoy all the opportunities given by flying.
Your country is very developped in Aviation,and here it's not as much.May be it's due to the size.
Let's keep them flying!

He sold that beautiful airplane and is working a job and got a black Nissan 370Z: .ua-cam.com/video/Sc5OkOtH7Bw/v-deo.html It is a nice car: Russell will be going off to the US Army in February to work in aviation. Who knows maybe one day he will be a helicopter pilot, huh? I told him he will have to work hard and needs to learn from the Pilots and Mechanics he is going to meet.
I learned that here in Raleigh, North Carolina we have an Honorary French Consulate run by a lady that is a Ex-pat from France. She works with French people visiting or moving here and French companies doing Business in North Carolina (NC). I hope one of these years soon to visit France with Jennifer and my oldest son James ( he is the French speaker/ translator) Maybe even with Russell, too. But now he is going to be a Soldier and may beat us to Europe. BONNE ANNEE!

Sir, thanks for the comment on Russell. What model floatplane are you flying it looked very scaled? He has a Beaver foamy on floats he has flown at pond near our home. This was his first RC when he started flying. Too, it was on this RC I realized he had some skills cause on his maiden flight he had to dead stick it. Man, that was over 7 years ago. I 'm trying to get the knack of flying around the pattern with an old Apprentice with the training wheels (gyro) so, hats off to you guys. At this rate I'm going get in the Guinness book as world's longest time to train RC pilot!

Yes, Sir. Thanks for the post on Russell. I think he is a natural at flying. There was a lot of talent there and I was sorry it got rained out. While at Joe Nall 2018 Russell and I got to see Spencer Nordquist fly his PAU Edge upside down in the pond. His rudder sliced through the water as smooth as silk. He flew it nice and easy with great skill. I sure hope/wish someone got a video clip of that flight Spencer did there.🛩✈
