Fantastic summary! I agree the steep learning curve of video editing is off-putting for newbies. If AI could help with this, I see it as a positive. Also, it looks great for pitching ideas and mock-ups. It would save a lot of time. Most small companies want to do better marketing but simply don’t have time and/or budget.
Glad you liked it! Yes I think it would help level the playing field for smaller creators and businesses to jump into video content.
I wonder if things are going to get really confusing (or interesting!) on what's a real video and what's not
Probably will be, but the key is that AI created videos needs to be labelled especially in the case of identifying false information.
Can you copyright videos that use ai clips?
That's a great question, this area is very ambiguous unfortunately. One of the suggestions is that "establishing ownership rights can be facilitated through contracts and licensing agreements between AI developers and content creators. These agreements should outline the distribution of rights and responsibilities, offering clarity in terms of ownership and usage permissions". Time will tell how these can be implemented, another great point to add to the complexity of AI-generated videos for sure!
