"It's quite a happy song… it's been a while since I've had a joyful song so it feels very nice. It was inspired by something quite sad as I looked at the suicide rates on this planet and apparently 73% of them were men and then I thought, why is that the case? Then I realized, obviously, it must be because of the feeling that you can't talk about your emotions and show that you're in pain because pain is often associated with weakness but you know, here in my world it's not, so the song is inspired by something quite sad but it is also happy because crying can be such a positive experience, especially afterwards when you actually feel a bit lighter. It's about that feeling to let off some steam as they say here in England.
Very nice 😊. I like this one a lot. One off the first things I noticed when I first heard it, was how soft the vocals were. Another great reaction🤗 This is an uplifting song😍 You have a lot of songs by Aurora you haven’t reacted to I believe you haven’t reacted to: “Churchyard” live at KEXP Iceland 2018 “Under The Water” live at either VevoHalloween or Honda Stage “Exhale Inhale” live at Vevo
Love your chest Ginger. And of course ... love your chest too Mike. It's not a competition. But I digress. Aurora is just such an artist. She is a poet that are able to put wonderful music to her words. A one in a generation. Love from Norway.
This is lovely. I was thinking of the Springsteen song when I saw the thumbnail. The Clarks do a fantastic cover of that one, btw. This young lady’s voice reminds me a little of Annette Streen from the band, “Venus Hum.”
Really good reaction video to Aurora's 'The River' music video. Thank you! Looking at the songs that you've covered ... I also see that you've 'missed' a couple biggies. The first is the MUSIC VIDEO for 'The Seed' from 2018. The other is a live Vevo studio performance of a song from her 2022 album - 'Exhale Inhale'. This song to me is a follow up to the previous song. Here are the two UA-cam title searches (as I've had YT delete my posts for providing links): 2018 MuSiC ViDeO: AURORA - The Seed 2022 LiVe ViVo SuDiO: AURORA - Exhale Inhale (Live) | Vevo Studio Performance
I'll say it in Spanish this time Aurora es demasiado buena la Mejor!! Good to see the Beautiful Lady and her knight, The Bearded Gent......have a great weekend guys!!
I love you guys. It always makes me in a good mood to watch you 😊I don't think you have reacted to "Exist for Love" by Aurora. The music video is on her channel. It's a song that will fit the two of you I think. Not gonna go into more details, SO - you have to do a reaction to it! haha 🤣 Have a wonderful day. Greetings from Norway. ❤
I’ve asked a few times and still hoping some day you’ll react to Gentle Earthquake by Aurora live from KEXP in Iceland. I don’t believe you’ve done that one yet.
“Aurora - Sofia” 🙏 Please listen to this music, this clip has artistic value, I think you will definitely like it. It will be something worth checking out. It contains so many emotions.
You’re one of the few reaction channels I enjoy who haven’t done a REN reaction yet, you’re missing out, a true original, I’d suggest the tale of Jenny and Screech 13 1/2 minutes of sheer genius or hi ren or chalk outlines with Chinchilla, she complements his voice wonderfully, but anything of his will thrill you including his busking with the big push
There is another song named "The River", but not the same as this beautiful one. The other song is from Epica in two versions. One is Epica feat. Apocalyptica and the other is Simone Simons (Epica) a capella. I like this one more. It is completely different from Aurora. You will love it too...
That was nice. She certainly has a unique voice for sure. requesting: TheocracyMatt - If We Were Vampires The video is Matt Smith from the christian power metal band Theocracy along with his wife (at least that is what is being said in the comments)... doing a cover of my favorite Country artist Jason Isbell. So it is a great metal singer doing Country!!! You two have reacted to Matt Smith once before, his Project Aegis song, where the proceeds to that song went to charity.
It’s a first listen. Some songs come thru clearly on their message, and some songs take further listens to soak up the meaning. Everyone has different triggers. - G
she wrote it when she read with shock male suicide figures, if you think what its about it is very deep

Masterpiece ❤
Guys, You should react to her love song Exist for Love!
I'm a simple man. I hear this song by Aurora, I cry.

Love you guys. You are so fun and likable. Yes it´s very uplifting. This one and Daydreamer is my favourite poppy song from her.
❤️

Love that song ❤️ It means that we guys can cry ❤️ That is not common but we can cry and its something we should be doing ❤️

Love that one 🤘🏻🤘🏻Had assumed that you had done it 🤔
The first thing I thought of when I saw the song title was that it was a cover of Joni Mitchell's song.
She is always magical.
That was a nice react :)

I’ve never considered facial schmutz all that enchanting but she makes it look good
There's a bunch of "unreleased" tracks you two haven't heard yet. The Sun, Silent Violence, Into My Arms just to name a couple.

😊👍
Please react to Under the water on the Honda stage, it's a really good one! :)
Love the goldfish shirt.
They’re actually pink parrots - G
@@MikeandGinger Oh -hahaha! So they are. Reading glasses are such a wonderful invention. 😄

We’ve done 3 Ren reactions already. He’s in the “Wild United Kingdom” playlist - G

On the topic of Aurora songs you haven't reacted to is Gentle Earthquakes. This is the best version ua-cam.com/video/M0iB_oVEyP8/v-deo.html Thanks!
Thanks Mike, you are right. The song and its message is great but the visuals ARE creepy lol
That was nice. She certainly has a unique voice for sure.

Could you do Puddles' version of Chris Isaac's "Wicked Game"?
You cry to First Aid Kit & not Aurora?!?!?!?!? Especially this song about male suicide. 🤷♂
It’s a first listen. Some songs come thru clearly on their message, and some songs take further listens to soak up the meaning.

I recommend you "Aurora - Artemis Live" I love your channel 🤍
