Great update on the garden railway here Matt, nice to see a train running on it and from the sounds of it there are some interesting ideas, keep up the great work.
Nice garden railway. Wonder what the fish in the pond made of the bridge stretching across the water. Just a little heads-up, yes Winter isn't very far away, and that means shorter days and longer nights. However, I'm sure the railway will look good. Here's an idea. You could attach Christmas tree lights to the sides of the bridge, when December comes. How good it would look in the dark, a Santa Special train hauled by the J94 rumbling across, taking children to Santa's Station Grotto. Oh, and watch out for Jack Frost. He's sure to try and spoil your garden railway fun. Arm yourself with a torch so as to avoid slipping on an unseen patch of ice.
Quite a nice review on the Garden Railway update including the B1 Locomotive and the coaches even the running session at the end with a mix of wagons and a brake van plus trying to chop a hanging Bush. In Google I put MTH Coaches and they look rather nice and smart but what dose MTH coaches stand for.
GREAT JOB !!--AND LOVE THAT "LOCO" !!
Enjoyed the update, what a lovely Garden Railway this is. The locomotive looked very pleasant hauling the freight across the bridge!😊
Thanks very much Christopher 😊

Yeah it's good to finally have trains running
Thanks Dave 🙂
The bridge part of the garden railway looks excellent especially with the castle in the background. The little B4 looks great as well.
Yeah I'm surprised how well the B4 runs out in the garden. Thank you 😊
Very nice
Thank you 😊

Could you use slate to edge the track to stop the ballast falling onto the soil, traditionally Welsh.
I do like that idea. Thank you 😊
