[Random Gameplay] Heatseeker (PCSX2 Emulator)

IMPORTANT INFORMATION:
Heatseeker is quite difficult to get to work on an emulator.
The game is very unstable. I managed to squeeze out the best graphics that my ancient PC could handle, but I couldn't get rid of the black horizon. At the cost of graphics, however, there is a huge risk of emulator crash.
Heatseeker on PS2 was the game that led me to discover the Ace Combat franchise.
My first experience with arcade air shooters.
While trying to find similar PSP games, I discovered Ace Combat X Skies of Deception and fell in love with the franchise forever. I will not hide that I am very grateful to Heatseeker for discovering Ace Combat.
In general, Heatseeker can be seen as a great spin-off to the AC franchise. There is great music, interesting plot, fast and cool gameplay. There are perhaps no tunnels through which you can fly, but this is forgivable.

Read your description. What's funny is that there's a PSP version of Heatseeker as well; though it had a lot of features and missions cut.

Yes I know that. I went through both versions, PS2 and PSP, and was greatly disappointed in the latter.
That's why I decided to find similar games for PSP and came across ACX.

Might look for this. I have a PS3 so backwards compatibility means I should be able to play it no problem.

There are a ton of graphical issues here. To be honest, I don't remember exactly how I fixed them. I advise you to try all the settings of the emulator one by one.
In any case, I was never able to fix the black horizon.

Heatseeker is very unstable on the emulator, to be honest. Much harder to emulate than Ace Combat 04.

Eh, those nozzle actuator sounds of PS2 AC & AC6 were great. Dunno why they dropped it after though.
