So awesome. Has any one in history ever built there own frame outta like tubing? Like how they do with mud buggys and nascar. Then itd be nearly indistructable with so many cross points for strength. Probably lighter too
It does. Vehicles built for hydraulics competitions like this are usually built by shops that sell hydraulic setups; they're not meant to be dependable transportation, just demo vehicles. The vehicles are usually trailered to shows in case they DO break, that way they can get them back home. If you notice, this S-10 has a large decal over it's windshield, so it's obviously not meant to be driven. A lot of times, these vehicles won't even have any engines or interiors in them; they're just rolling chassis with wicked hydraulic setups, purpose-built for demos & competitions. At 1:36, the rear axle is clearly visible, and it's obviously not a factory S-10 axle. Looks to be possibly a Dana. Needs to be reinforced to withstand the abuse. However, you can install hydraulics on a vehicle and not ruin it, provided you don't hop it frequently and don't bounce it too high. On practical applications, hydraulics were the predecessors to airbag setups, and they're just for adjusting ride height on the fly. This way, the "resting" suspension setup can be dropped mega low, and the hydraulics can lift the vehicle up enough to drive. But as far back as the 80s, "hopping" has been a thing in lowrider circles.

If i wanted hydraulics for my truck but I'd only do like a 3-wheel motion ride, would my truck last? ... maybe a light bounce. It doesn't have to come off the ground crazy.
nah this cars no have engine at all...all battery, no way you can make dogs effect even with 348 engine on it -:now in 2024 yes you can install EV motor it so you can bounce or drive it like a normal cars
Car manufacturers out here like nooooooooo it wasnt built to bounce 😂😂

I swear bro it doesn’t even look real 🤣🤣🤣
How does this not ruin the vehicle
Good suspension system?
It does. They usually break off camera though 😝
However there is one video where it does break
The base needs 2 be REALLY reinforced.
It does.
