That’s great to see as I had a 1984 California CJ-8, it was black with a single cab, 6 cyl. T-176 trans. , 300 transfer case. It’s great to see your work.
I am totally binge watching all your videos Dennis! Love the facts and figures you tell about the Jeep you’re talking about! I can’t believe you remember all those paint codes and build #s! Like you would say, “Outstanding!”👍👍👍👍👍
Dennis, I very much like your videos and the way you develop young people around you including Alex and Kelsey. You are a good manager and even a better person. Greetings from Czech Republic where Jeeps are not so common on the roads but in recent years growing in popularity. Be well and keep on doing the fine work! Bo
Coming from Australia, the first time I saw Dennis was on Fast and Loud. My impression of him in the early days of the show was that he was a bit arrogant! HOW WRONG I was. After watching this channel he is a very approachable and extremely nice guy. I love the way he interacts with his employees! Live this channel!
Mr Collins, you sir are a genuine genius, your foresight and tenacity for perfection is an unique gift, the quality of every build is concourse gold standard, keep doing what you do,you own it,cheers from australia
me too man......the ONLY reason I purchased a brand new Jeep JL that I'm keeping the mileage as low as possible on is so that I can sell it after it's paid off (1/2 way there!!!) and use the money to outright buy a rebuilt CJ (although I can't afford the kind of restoration Dennis would do.....maybe that'll be the retirement car. *crossing fingers*) and use it as a daily (not a rock climber though.....getting one of those will take a few more years) bc why else?!? These things are meant to be enjoyed.
so so awesome, love watching these, so much info,, THANKS guys, wish i had the money and the way to get my jeep out to u guys to put a new heart into it,, mayb some day,, keep up the good work,, u have the best TEAM EVER,,,
Now thats super cool Dennis i wish i had a jeep because i would want your shop to restore it for me your guys are the best that is for sure love your show Dennis
If I could afford it, I’d love for my Comanche to get restored by you and your crew. Y’all take the right time, tools and parts for every Jeep and I love it.
Awesome jeep rebuilds..... instead of hand sanding have you ever considered blasting with Cold Jet LLC dry ice system? No clean up mess and no heat issues.....
Very cool. I’d love to get a frame up restored, stock ‘86 CJ7. Doing some math, though, with 500 hours of labor, plus the cost of the original Jeep and new parts, that would have to cost $40K or more. Definitely out of my price range. Makes me wish I would have kept one of my old Jeeps....
Another great video. Thank you. Mr. Collins, you need to move on to the next size shirt. Still haven't got my 48+ back on the road. I did manage to drive it back into the barn, after taking up space in garage for last several years. Open heart surgery, valve n bypass, has kept me from working on it. I did buy the body mounting parts, but didn't install. No energy.
Do you leave the factory spot welds in the outer side panels like the factory. A lot of the factory untouched body's had some ungodly looking spot welds straight from the dealership. They look bad! But that's the way they came.
Better resolution on the camera looks great. You see more things than before. For example, does Dennis west hearing aids, or is that just a tuft of hair on his ears?
Anyone remember a walk that Dennis showed 2 white jeeps. 1 with a black hardtop and one with no top at all. Which show video was it. I want to watch it again.
At least Dennis cares for the Passion of restoring cars and jeeps richard just cares a bout the money. And not the project. It's only a bout money with him
ONLY JEEP OWNERS KNOW THE LOVE FOR JEEPS IM IN CANADA IN 1983 OFF THE DEALERS FLOOR I BOUGHT A BRAND NEW CJ5 RENEGADE SILVER IN COLOR HARD TOP WITH A STICK BEST VEHICULE IVED OWN I PAID $13,888 CANADIAN
Could you give me a ball bark range on a frame off restoration? I have an 86 cj-7 and would love to know a range. Thanks. Ps, I wish you had a show on tv. I would watch!
Once they were just throw away vehicles that had no value unless it was WW2 Vintage. Now 30 or 40 years removed, the CJ is being treated like vintage Mopars or Jaguars. Rotisserie restorations are being sold for big money
5 years since I started my 84 CJ7 refresh. 3rd shop. Fucking nightmare. Latest guy is getting paid to stay home for covid by the govt and not work of my jeep. Will never ever have a project car again. Fucking nightmare.
I love the Ice Blue Laredo Scrambler! It's my dream Scrambler! I can't wait to see it when it's done! 😁🤑😁
Thank you for real world videos, no egos or screaming or false drama, just solid information. Who wouldn’t want to work for Dennis?
dennis your car an jeep knowledge is amazing. all hail the jeep whisperer.

Awesome job love your videos
Man I love CJ Fridays!! Great video!
Wow Dennis.... These Jeep's are complicated!! Thank you for your video's. Peter.
Cool looking Jeeps can't wait to see them finally done ✅👍😁✌️
Own an 84 Scrambler in really good shape, looking forward to seeing progress on your 84 restoration project
Wish I could afford Jeep’s like that. I can only admire.
I know the feeling

I love the fact that they put so much TLC into the jeeps, if everybody did that, there would be no salvage yards
Stunning for sure!
If I could afford it, I’d love for my Comanche to get restored by you and your crew. Y’all take the right time, tools and parts for every Jeep and I love it.
The young fellow eye's lite right up when you where talking about the V8 jeep! You will train him well. Keep that guy around.
Its his son. Dont think he has a choice. Lol
Lucky son. He look's like a worker, just like dad. He will do well.
I've had always wanted to do a frameup painting, welding, grinding carburetored engine even 8 track player lol.
Awesome jeep rebuilds..... instead of hand sanding have you ever considered blasting with Cold Jet LLC dry ice system?
No clean up mess and no heat issues.....
O jimny Branco com o adesivo do maior grupo de jimny do Brasil ! Belas máquinas !
Jimny4x4Brasil 🚜
Really enjoy your show man
Nice work Dennis .
Looks like a new camera. Quality is huge step up. 👌
More Jeep gold 👍👍😍😍
Digging the move to 1080p60 video. Noticeable improvement in quality. 4K next maybe?
Great video.

Im doing a frame up on a 74 CJ5 I bought in 1976 it is the second time I've done it
Cool Beans.
I’m redoing a 76 I’v had since 1980.
If it could talk the story’s...
It would be great if you guys could do a follow up on these, just to see how they’ve turned out..
I like them stock
Wicked!
Happy 420 dennis's
Do you leave the factory spot welds in the outer side panels like the factory. A lot of the factory untouched body's had some ungodly looking spot welds straight from the dealership. They look bad! But that's the way they came.
My 1st car was a 1984 keep CJ-7
Do you work on Comanche's? I haven't seen one yet, just curious. I always wanted one.
Drove a 88 commanche X all. Tarted up roll bar wheels tires. Wow
There’s a rusted 87 CJ7 for 2g cdn in my area.
Do you sell those patch panels for the Roll Bar floor and B pillar that you showed off ? Thanks
Got one going myself but NOS isn't going to happen. Thanks for showing where the frame VIN is located.
What does NOS stand for?
New old stock
Are you going to leave the front clip on the Scrambler when you paint it? Are the front fenders spot welded to the tub from the factory?
The fenders are bolted to the tub. He paints the fenders, hood and grill separately, or off the tub, just as Jeep did.
Better resolution on the camera looks great. You see more things than before. For example, does Dennis west hearing aids, or is that just a tuft of hair on his ears?
Wonder if they can change one to Right Hand Drive.?.
waiting on the collins jeep giveaway win a jeep on this channel lol
Anyone remember a walk that Dennis showed 2 white jeeps. 1 with a black hardtop and one with no top at all. Which show video was it. I want to watch it again.
You ever do any cj2a jeeps?
At least Dennis cares for the Passion of restoring cars and jeeps richard just cares a bout the money. And not the project. It's only a bout money with him
1981 CJ 5 Laredo 4cyl ?? Any value
Hi Dennis - What is the status of your BMW M1?
thoughts on fiberglass bodies?
Will the front and rear differentials handle the power from the small block Chevy?
Good question.
My first thought is that it should as quite a few early CJ5's had 304 V8 engines but they put out nearly half the power, so...
??
From what I understand, yes, but not for hard offroading or clutch dumps. The 86s had Dana 44s in the rear, which are preferred.
Do a coffe walk with Richard wrawlings
Whats going on with the 3 Comanches out front?
Is there an update on the Vietnam Mustang
ONLY JEEP OWNERS KNOW THE LOVE FOR JEEPS IM IN CANADA IN 1983 OFF THE DEALERS FLOOR I BOUGHT A BRAND NEW CJ5 RENEGADE SILVER IN COLOR HARD TOP WITH A STICK BEST VEHICULE IVED OWN I PAID $13,888 CANADIAN
What can be done if there’s rust inside the frame?
Do you sell those rollbar floor patches?
Why did they quit making the Jeep wagoneer and why did they quit making
I love the show, but im sure that your viewers and i would appreciate it if you could tell us the cost of each restoration.
Could you give me a ball bark range on a frame off restoration? I have an 86 cj-7 and would love to know a range.
Thanks. Ps, I wish you had a show on tv. I would watch!
Wassup
I thought he came in early LOL
Need a jeep budget around 4K
Once they were just throw away vehicles that had no value unless it was WW2 Vintage. Now 30 or 40 years removed, the CJ is being treated like vintage Mopars or Jaguars. Rotisserie restorations are being sold for big money
5:55 thats not a t5 is it? Those transmissions are like glass. If he pounds it that v8 will tear her up
How much are these restored jeeps?
I don't really like jeeps i just like channel n bc Dennis seems cool af then Richard 🤣🤣🤣🤣 jk
1
That t5 won't last long behind that v8 lol
Too gussied up you can build a frankentruck cj for 20 grand
Sure hope a Dana 20 paperweight isn’t sitting behind that sbc......
fuck am late keep goin bud
We are putting a cj 8 together and whoever took it apart lost a bunch of stuff. 😒 Literally everytime we turn around it’s order this and that
5 years since I started my 84 CJ7 refresh. 3rd shop. Fucking nightmare. Latest guy is getting paid to stay home for covid by the govt and not work of my jeep. Will never ever have a project car again. Fucking nightmare.
Maybe let Alex finish speaking when he starts instead of cutting him off!

Wish I could afford Jeep’s like that. I can only admire.
