Honestly Dennis is such a class act. He is living proof that you don’t need to swear or be crude in anyway and always be a gentleman and always be honest and you’ll get ahead. I wish others were like him but he is unfortunately quite rare.
Exactly... stay classy people.. no swearing !
Go watch the video of him and Richard on there cannonball run 2007.
@@oldskool1979he's not a offer up buyer he's a real business man he don't have to swear c'mon
Thats cool you taught them youngins a lil somethin bout what they have
Thats cool you taught them youngins a lil somethin bout what they have
As impressive as your knowledge of cars is, how you treat people with respect and genuine interest is "The Most Stunning" and more legendary than some of your other legendary achievements. Seeing you daughter do the same, as well as your company as a whole, shows that it isn't just a stunt for the camera. Well done.
That's what I like most about this man and his family as well. You can't fake that and Dennis deserves every good deal he gets. He understands that sometimes it's hard to part with an old metal friend.
I've lived in the Plano area for over 30 years and am fairly familiar with Collins Bros. Jeeps from way back, but don't know the Collins' personally. I bumped into him in Barnes and Noble in Plano, TX, looking at house plan books a couple of years ago. I'm not one to interrupt celebrities living their lives, but, I decided to just comment down the aisle that I enjoyed his stuff. He was very friendly, paused from what he was doing and spoke very personably. No cameras, no one else around. Could have blown me off. But, a genuinely engaging personality.
Well said.. Seems like a total legit guy. Doesn't talk down or insult anyone. And teaching the youth 👍
Well said and put!!
Wow! You learn about cars AND find some interesting places to eat.
Dennis, I think it is commendable how you handled this situation. I believe not many buyers would spend the time to education the sellers as you do. Nice video and fan for life.
i thought he did too. Its actually a good business decision. It get people interested in finding cars for him.
These vidieos are done in order to be informative, it's why I watch
Yep. That's why I just subbed. No dirty tricks with this guy.
Dennis is passing it on to the next generation and he is a true gentleman. The world needs more of him,
Man when Dennis starts rattling off the facts and figures , it’s like a genius at work.
Awesome .
Buying the guys a dinner is as decent as always. Puts a smile on my face seeing Dennis do such a nice gesture 👍 top man
Well sure, had to smooth over the deal so when he makes over 3 figures on this car, he won't feel guilty.
And being 100% transparent. A gem of a business man
This channel should have a million subs easily.
This is top quality youtube.
Easy for sure
Car people are a dying breed, unfortunately. Soon all cars will be appliances.
Yea but this new age of “car” guys are too into donut media type garbage 🗑
Another idiot thinking that 1 million people should like what he likes..
This is what I like about Dennis, he doesn’t try to steal a car and actually tells people what they have and why it’s special. He’s respectful and honest.
Dennis - "Got Anything Else For Sale??"
Older Cool Shoe Dude - "NOPE!!" Thinking To Himself, I'm Gonna Do My Homework 1st!!! 😆
Nice of u Dennis not taking advantage of people like ur friend richard ..but please start showing what u do with all this buys
Stunning. The 67 most easily identified by the lack of side marker lights and front vent windows. My best friend's mom had a 67 rs/ss convertible, 350 4 speed growing up. Blue, white top and white front stripe on the nose. Canadian car. As a boy I remember it with side pipes and Cragars before it was restored. My mom was driven to the hospital in labour with my sister in it. In 1975.
When you mentioned cocktail shakers I about fell over. I was told they were called "martini shakers" for weight distribution when I was a boy. 35 years ago.
Thanks for doing your part in keeping the legacy of musclecars alive, as well as glorious examples of the musclecar era alive!
Thanks for the trip down memory lane.
I've watched 100's of car videos.....coffee walk....is the best....Dennis Collins....has tons of class....honest.....truthful......treats others with respect....and gets it in return.....more importantly.....he doesn't put up with any BS!....+....he has command of the English language w/o the use of any profanity!....how refreshing.
Dennis is a genius when it comes to the intricate details of a cars production story, it never gets old !! Thx Dennis for educating all of us!!
I know this car! I have been friends of the original owner my whole life. The original owner was GM executive for the GM plant in Bedford, Indiana. I remember the car sitting in his garage with the pace car decals on it. I know he didn't drive it much and it would sit during the winters if not longer.
Thanks, interesting to me to…From WARSAW: much time in “INDY:”, etc, BOARD OF pharmacy,Work, MUSEUSMS ALL MY life. Interestingly, I hit Indy 500 in 1966( ARMY ROTC: Honor Guard Purdue, SSG) with big Crash/ Smoke .. we Trooped the Colors, for Parades….incredible so long ago, yet memories, we relocated to HELENA Valley, MT in SEP 2016…….TO SEE kids, Gramdkids…. Anyways, darned if remembering my Neighbor in Wilmot: got a 67 CAMARO/4 Sp/ RS gauges from Hefner Chevrolet( BIG DEALER)… Do remember some about the INDY CAR SELECTIONS EACH YEAR, & great Historical.. thouhg do remember Pace Cars in 50’s?.. e.g Chrysler, 55 ?. Thanks
Hey Jim, could you reach out to social@cbjeep.com? I would love to hear more about your relationship with the original owner.
-Dennis
Get the guy to give up the Jack!
I posted a minute ago. I have a 70 Challenger RT 4 speed bought new at Sciscoe Dodge in Bloomington. I know the original owner to it. There are some jewels in the Bedford area. Original owner 4 speed Super Bee, and two-four barrel early sixties Chevy Bel Aire.
I'm from Evansville, found a Oldsmobile dealership sign on Bloomington Craigslist 12 years ago. Guy was in Bedford and thats where I picked it up. $200 bucks, deal of the century for me being hard-core Oldsmobile guy.
Love that he took the time to tell them how to spot a special kind of car!
Great job Dennis!
No, Dennis, I don't think he knew who you were when he rented that car to you. LMFAO
I really like your show. Just started following you on UA-cam. I never got to watch your TV show but now that I'm retired I have the time. I like the way you treat the people you work with and the people you purchase your cars from. You are a true gentleman. God Bless you and your family
You just have to love the history of each vehicle. It tells a story like none other. That's why I just love coffee walk. Dennis is the wealth of, information and you will never go wrong.
as much as i like watching gas monkey. you hit it out the park everytime with your knowledge . good work Dennis its a pleasure to watch your vids
Richard Rawlings…a arrogant……Dennis is in a total different league. Super classy guy.
Dennis calls Richard Grasshopper!
I need to come back here to cleanse my pallet after watching Richard treat people like garbage over on Gas Monkey.
These guys are just some cool car guys and I hope they decide to start a channel showing off their cars and finds. Bravo Dennis for being fair honest and upfront with them. Class Act hope to see them sell some more cars soon
Every week I get more impressed by the amount of knowledge Dennis has on multiple car brands. Well impressive.
That is so weird, I have that same car in my garage, my name is Chad too, last inspection was 76 on the one here too. It is a C-1 trim tag, 396, 4 speed, convert, RS/SS, white with bright blue deluxe interior... Need to be restored too. Let me know if you want to see a video.
Dennis seems like the coolest boss and car collector out there...I could just drive stuff around and sweep the floors at this place for work and be happy
Dennis is living proof that nice guys finish first. Class act all the way. 👍
Dennis Collins for president of all knowledge about cars. You learn some, you laugh some, you don’t wanna miss one episode on this channel..
Cool find, love Camaro's. Dennis is cool buying lunch where ever he goes. I had a Century like that back in the 80s total boat, fun cruising that car.
Coffee Walk is always at the top of the list for watching when ever Dennis and Team post a new video! You don't have to tell Dennis to keep it classy BC he wrote the damn book on class. GYSOT Richard!! 😬😜
all this brings back memories for me. i am 64, my dad sold new Chevy's in the 60s, every year he would take us up to the show room to see the new arrivals. i remember all the muscle cars when they were new sitting in the show room. then in the 70s when i grew up by then dad had a few different used car lots. i grew up working on and driving and having these machines. i just retired from a 45 year career as a professional transmission rebuilder/shop owner,,,,,,,
this is another excellent reason why Dennis is such a Cool, Man of Class and Dignity
Morning D...Speaking On The 0 4 Description Of The Scenario Of Especially As Early As This Pace Car,...VERY INFORMATIVE !!!! Nice Purchase & Real Nice Lunch With Family !!!! Keep Em- Comeing D !!!!....
"Do you really want to know..."
I loled.
Richard would have said “no kids. Only wives!””
Also "What I'm supposed to pay?"
Richard gets too twitchy....it's distracting.
😆😆😆. Your editor is KILLING it.
Thanks, Mr. Moss!
Awesome series of well presented episodes, butt the absolute kicker that top these off is the brilliant way Dennis promotes and supports the local businesses in each town he visits. Love it, well done Dennis. 👌
Cool find Sir…glad it’s in your hands. Dennis I have to applaud you for being a consummate gentlemen and for consistently giving a local restaurant/bar a plug. My hats off to you Sir! Love your videos and can’t wait for the next one.
Always has impeccable manners. Respect.
Dennis, My Dad was a salesman at Chase Chevrolet in Bedford, IN. his name was Les, possibility exist his name would be on the paper work. I know for a fact he sold the only dealership 69 Pace Car to one of his friends. White hugger Orange stripes/hounds-tooth inter. 350/350hp. Dad took Cliff and his new Camaro out highway E50 straightaway and showed him the taillamps on his demo 69 Chevelle SS 396/375+hp underrated, later determined 405hp. I was 10 dad let me sit on the console of that Chevelle and pull second I can still hear that rock crusher Muncie whine. Great show Thank You !
Best show in a while, Dennis. Love the respect you show for everyone and the positive influence - always willing to teach folks what you know. Stay well and continued success.
Love this channel, so glad you dont have that obnoxious wannabe way out of his league tag along Rawlins with you, you seem to be a much more honest genuine chap Dennis.. Keep up the AWESOME WORK😎👍🏻
Love love love this channel. Dennis is a class act for sure
Dennis is a Class Act! His Mom & Dad taught him to treat others the way he wants to be treated.
Dennis has a good eye for the cool cars you rock
Dennis you are living every car guys dream, so take care of yourself get more sleep.
Dennis really like this channel and wanted to say how generous you are with your money. I'm aware you are rich but there's a lot of rich people out there that are tight asses and you are not. You understand it's one life and you can't take it with you!
To be a car guy and to get invited to eat with Dennis it's like a regular person being invited to eat with the president
That’s what it felt like!
Dennis Collins is a legend! So much knowledge! Thank You!
Dennis Collins is a fascinating guy. He has obviously spent decades becoming one of the worlds top negotiators, but more often than not it seems like it has become more valuable to him to foster relationships with potential future connections than rake them over the coals on one single deal.
Yes! Fridays here, it's past 6pm here in English so I've grabbed me a cup of beer!
Cheers!
@@DennisCollinsCarWorld your welcome! Great channel, videos and content
It's winter in South Africa. Cup of tea for me
You're not just flipping cars, you're building relationships, which is what successful businessmen do. But you already know that! God Bless you and your family and crew!
Dennis, the production quality of your episodes are approaching a network standard. Keep it up and we will keep watching! Blessings from Flower Mound.
First for the Holy grail, one of one rarest of the rare, killer, gysot pace car
Dennis COLLINS IS A CLASS ACT would love to know this guy personally just an all around decent person but for now i will just keep watching everything he puts on the tube and will run across a cool car one day and i will call him thats one of my goals lol i better get busy I am 71 years young but still a car nut keeping my 95 vet up is one of my retirement projects any way keep it up Dennis I am lovin it
Dennis, You the Man. Happy Fathers Day. You are always teaching someone. And so respectful of kids. VERY admirable. Love your youtube channel.
tim in new mexico
You guys want to join us for a meal? I’m buying..
In that case, just give me a minute to round up my whole family....😂
I've owned a 1967 RS/SS 350 4spd conv. for 33years. Finding one that is a real car let alone a Pacer in original condition is rare. I'm happy to see you found the car Dennis, you will do right by it and preserve it's history. Congratulations, you are a true gentleman and always treat people with respect.
Dennis is a walking encyclopedia!
Great to watch and such a nice guy
Hi Dennis. You Sir have restored my faith in human nature. Not too often you come across a honest business man in the classic car world. That is why you are successful in life. Great to see you take the guys and family out for brunch. Cheers from Australia.
Thanks for not ripping people off Dennis. Class act.
Another outstanding find Dennis! So knowledgeable and so informative - love this!! Keep up the great content!!
Dennis is a true class act.
Cares about the cars more than money. Haven't seen him "haggle" over the price much, unless the car wasn't as advertised.
Richard would've tried to steal the car and think about a quick flip for profit and would've let someone else restore it. I love Chevelles, I would've liked to seen the Chevelle too. Even if it wasn't 4 sale. 🇺🇸👍
Learned much about pace cars too.
Dennis I really respect how you handle yourself toward others and sharing your wisdom so others can learn. You're a scholar and a gentleman ✌️
Damn, your amazing finds just never stop. Thanks for taking us along.
I just found your UA-cam channel...Very interesting and educational...I am 64 and I love learning new things every day.... I will probably forget it tomorrow..🤷♂️
Wicked cool find and always love the learning that goes on with this channel!! And then you take the sellers out for lunch....NICE!!
Glad to see such a genuine car guy, no brashness and demeaning comments, Yes he will resell and earn a living from it and the guys he bought it off are doing the same, or else this could have been another 1st Gen that ends up as a pile of rust.BTW there is also an added line on the Pace car cowl tag special fleet code I have an O-1 67 (the O denotes a special paint finish ,lacquered) , 061-A here in the UK owned it for the past 38 years
My favorite part of these videos are the detailed reviews of the trim tags and VINs. So much information, and so fascinating.
Dennis is the definition of Class. Thanks for taking me along on these automotive history lessens. So cool!
Having someone come out and explain the numbers breakdown, would be just plain awesome. Now that’s a priceless experience
Dennis is a class act, first rate guy. What Impresses me is his willingness to share his knowledge to the car sellers and the public in general to make the car owner or buyer a more educated individual.
great video really enjoyed it.would love to see that car when it is finished.love to see these important pieces of history saved.I agree that it was awesome the way you treated these guys
pretty good in todays world you reep what you sow and I think dennis has proved that in these videoes and also thanks for these great videos and to all that put these videoes together, like dennis says you cannot make this stuff up another great find bringing the old cars back to life. thank you.
Thanks DENNIS 💪👍🇺🇸🏁🏎️🚙🛺🚜🚓🏍️🛫🌄🌎🥇🚗🚙🚐👕🛡️📯⚔️🛡️📯📢🔔💡🎯🇺🇸🏁🇺🇸🏁🇺🇸🏁🛡️
Dennis, you are an awesome and very fair man. The way you treat people does not go unnoticed ! Hope you find many more great cars and bring us along for the ride. Thanks bruh !
100% Dennis got back in the truck and said, *"Damn babies.."*
Naaw, remember, he's raised 2 of 'em himself...
Wow that was awesome & yet again the plethora of knowledge Dennis has; blows me away. I love coffee walk!
Thanks for the experience Dennis!!! Really appreciate everything!
As many have said on here Dennis is a real gentleman, knows how to make people feel good and his car knowledge is second to none. Class.
I like the concept of this show: buy a car, often travelling half-way across the country, explaining the origin of the car, paying the agreed price, and then buying the sellers lunch or dinner in their favorite restaurant! Very respectfull guy, this mr. Dennis Collins!
I have watched many of these and I like how you did not belittle the young guys but educated them on what they had and how to actually read the numbers. I really like in the last few videos I have seen that you buy dinner and make it a specials deal for the family involved. Keep em comin Dennis
Class act helping others in the trade...educating them on what to look for to prove it is a pace car....
Nothing better than a 67 Camero, rare or regular or just plain with no options!!! Congrats on the find!!!
Definitely the coolest car you've ever shown on your channel.
Audi A8L W12 - simply the best.
Greetz from Germany.
Dennis I love watching your videos and your interactions with the people you deal with. It is entertaining and a straight up guy. Keep the videos coming.
I love watching you videos.
Because you are such a
stand up guy. You always
treat everyone with respect.
And you educate all with
your car knowledge.
Seems like Dennis has met 2 birds of a feather. We will see these guys again.
Yeah, they seem good kids to know :)
Best channel on UA-cam, Dennis is a great presenter and the camera work and production are awesome.
Awesome find by those guys and awesome buy for you Dennis. Keep up with the great videos.
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again. You’re a class act Dennis. A true honest gentleman.
Another excellent video!!...please keep them coming and I enjoy your car knowledge and history!!...👍👍
Dennis always treating people fair and with respect .You are a class act my friend keep up the great content . Hopefully we get to see you with a national TV show soon. Thank you.
Way to go Chris! You the man!
Thanks my brotha!!!!
This man should have a series on television!!! Amazing guy with an encyclopedic knowledge of cars!! I look forward to every friday to watch your new videos. Thanks for all that you do!
What an amazing encyclopedic knowledge of cars Dennis has, and such a nice guy!!
If you love four wheels and history you love this channel! Thanks for the education every time I watch DC! Btw someone commented why you don’t have 1mil subs, and I wonder that as well. Great content and the film/editing peeps are awesome! Cheers and thanks for these!
You are a good man Dennis. I like how you do business and actually assist others, building their knowledge.
I'm glad someone told you the correct annunciation of the towns name. I live in Southern Indiana and I figured that you would get told about it. Lol
Dennis is the real deal! Not too many car flippers would let the less educated sellers know how rare a vehicle is and pay them for it for what it is and not try to rip them off.
This is great...the old man's down the road.... thanks for the info
Thank you again Mr Collins for another great episode you and your amazing wisdom and knowledge you have never seems to amaze me even more
That's awesome! And it shows how honest you are with people.
Dennis has so much to offer. And it’s nice to see he isn’t afraid to share his vast knowledge. Abundance mentality.
Very happy to see you find another piece of old gold!!!!!! I wish I had your resources to be able to do the same thanks for sharing this with us it was awesome!!!!!
