BC Emergency Alerting System Test (Alert Ready) - AM Radio and Mobile Phone

Captured the scheduled test alert on the radio and mobile phone while driving. Quite impressed at how simultaneous the different mediums alerted.

There should also be an air raid type warning system all of coastal BC Lower Mainland. Especially for events that occur at night.

This happened yesterday for me. May 5 2021. Lmao I was in school, listening to music while reading a book, everyone who had an Iphone heard this, and I was wondering what was going on and I took my earphones out to hear, and thank god I did that. The sound was a bit loud and the alert sound probably wouldn't have damaged my hearing at all, but at least i didn't hear how loud it was in my earphones.
