I am a 35 year old American who TODAY finally learned about Terry Fox. I have been weeping over this man all afternoon and evening, as I have been reading and watching videos about him. I can honestly say that I have never encountered a story of an individual as powerful as Terry's. He is a miracle.
Thank you Terry. I wish I could have met you. I remember these events even though I was only a little boy when they were taking place. Terry, and his good friend Rick Hansen continue to inspire disabled people throughout the country, myself included.
Thank you Terry Fox, my sister pasted from cancer a little over a year ago. it is my belief that she lived longer and suffered less due to the advancements made with all the money made from all those marathons of hope and god bless you and your family
@oscillation1 Today is September 15th, Terry Fox marathon of hope run. Over 500 million has been raised for cancer research in Terrys name. My son goes to Terry Fox public school in Cobourg Ontario. I think most Canadians hero is Terry Fox. He touched the hearts of the people, in a way know professional athlete or politician could ever do. Thanks for being interested.
