A refreshing documentary that updates Terry Fox’s gripping story for today’s youth by featuring modern accounts of young cancer survivors, interviews with Fox family members and one of Canada’s leading Oncology specialists. Inspired by the animation stylings of the 1980’s, when Terry began his Run, the documentary intercuts never before seen archival footage with animation outlines, giving a unique, fresh look and style that are relatable to today’s youth.
I was sick the day of my schools terry fox run, and I couldn't come. as most kids do when they're at home, I turned on my PS4 and hopped on to GTA online. But when I loaded in to a session, i got an idea. I went to game chat, and told the whole lobby to come join me in an in game terry fox run. As an introvert, It's kind of scary to talk to randoms but I manned up and did it. My idea was to run across the entire map with a bunch of players. I started at the docks, near the nightclub, and started running. surprisingly, around the Ammunation by the factories, people started joining me. more and more people kept joining till we had 21 people on the highway by the casino. by then I lost my shyness and was laughing and crying with most of the lobby. two hours later, I'm back where I started. at the nightclub. we had 19 people at the end of the run. It was the most beautiful moment of my gaming career. :)
Thats awesome man. Every little bit counts. We must never forget about Terry and the cause he was fighting for. Terry Fox is arguably the greatest Canadian in history.

Love you Terry, true heroism!!! However, l would have chosen to die from osteosarcoma, than undergo amputation!!! I have type two diabetes, and if my leg was full of sores, I would not amputate.
Since graduation from school I hardly ever hear about Terry Fox anymore, but I still think about this legend from time to time. Inspirational.

It's like he never died. We mention his name every day. It's surreal. We have this perfect image of Terry in all of our minds. Everyone sees it, and it will never change. His curls, his beautiful smile, his stoic brow and his heroic resolution. Thank you, Terry. You're one of the few who will live forever because you took a chance to do something that nobody else would. Rest in peace, dear boy.

My school raised more than 10000 dollars for cancer research during the terry fox run and was one of the top 10 in Canada!!! We only have around 600 kids too

Gordana Zakula yes cos chemo therapy is science and so is radio therapy people act. Macho and put on shows of bravado when they are safe but when faced with death, many would. To accept it and fight hard for their life.

I had surgery this February on my ankle for leiomyosarcoma. My doctors said I would never be able to run again. Well, I just came back from a 10 minute run and I plan to sign up for the local marathon next year. 👍

You made a difference, and today my niece is fighting for a second heart , and because she had cancer Ewing's Cancer at the age of 19, and it affected her heart, and she had her first heart transplant and survived for over 20, or 22 yrs. after. She was our miracle girl. and now today, she's still fighting for another heart . She's too young to go, and she has two children, and two grandchildren, and a loving husband. We pray for all who are suffering . May God bless you all. xoxoxo

Best Canadian Hero Ever. Terry Fox.
My child's school encourages its students to participate every year in a Terry Fox run. It is an official thing with funds going to a local well-known cancer hospital. The hospital provides treatment to people at a subsidised cost, so it is pretty stretched.
Till date, I had only heard about but never watched any videos of Terry... And this was just incredible. What a beautiful and tremendous resolve.
