Love you Terry, true heroism!!! However, l would have chosen to die from osteosarcoma, than undergo amputation!!! I have type two diabetes, and if my leg was full of sores, I would not amputate.
he is fool, he collect money for wealthy pharmaceutic companies and doctors which dont do nothing 40 years later except milking money out of peoples on useless cures which dont help again
I was sick the day of my schools terry fox run, and I couldn't come. as most kids do when they're at home, I turned on my PS4 and hopped on to GTA online. But when I loaded in to a session, i got an idea. I went to game chat, and told the whole lobby to come join me in an in game terry fox run. As an introvert, It's kind of scary to talk to randoms but I manned up and did it. My idea was to run across the entire map with a bunch of players. I started at the docks, near the nightclub, and started running. surprisingly, around the Ammunation by the factories, people started joining me. more and more people kept joining till we had 21 people on the highway by the casino. by then I lost my shyness and was laughing and crying with most of the lobby. two hours later, I'm back where I started. at the nightclub. we had 19 people at the end of the run. It was the most beautiful moment of my gaming career. :)
Thats awesome man. Every little bit counts. We must never forget about Terry and the cause he was fighting for. Terry Fox is arguably the greatest Canadian in history.
Watching this made me realize im not good enough. Terry I promise I will become stronger and hopefully inspire atleast 1 individual in my life before i die
It's like he never died. We mention his name every day. It's surreal. We have this perfect image of Terry in all of our minds. Everyone sees it, and it will never change. His curls, his beautiful smile, his stoic brow and his heroic resolution. Thank you, Terry. You're one of the few who will live forever because you took a chance to do something that nobody else would. Rest in peace, dear boy.
My childhood hero. This story shook me to the core in a proud way growing up in Canadian schools. Maybe one day i'll finish his run. He's Canada's greatest hero, and unified a divided 1980's country.
They dont come much Braver, Unselfish, Tough, Inspirational, Heroic than Terry Fox. There arent many like him, if any, people like him are few and far between, in a whole different league. Hes been my inspiration for years. What a man. Thank you.
terry fox is the greatest Canadian to live and having the courage and bravery to run across canada like that is so amazing, great for terry I would never be able to do that even if i tried.
im crying...i have a huge lump in my throat. Terry Fox is such an inspiration!! i envy those who saw him in person. he was indeed a great man, left a huge legacy that we wish he saw. hopefully he knows the mark he's left on earth.

After all of these years, I still well up with tears when I remember Terry Fox. His courage and relentless determination will always encourage and inspire us..truly, a hero💜
Can't believe it's been 40 years since he's passed. What a Canadian legend and hero! I hope they still talk about him in schools like they did when I was a kid. I hope they keep him relevant forever because he sure earned it!
My school raised more than 10000 dollars for cancer research during the terry fox run and was one of the top 10 in Canada!!! We only have around 600 kids too
I was tearing up at school watching this And this is from (Calgary In Canada) Just to say Terry If you see this is heaven we all respect you very much (maybe one day people will find the cure to cancer)
I would have told those evil doctors and nurses to fuck off and let me die with dignity. No cancer treatment for ME! Terry was very brave, and an inspiration.
@@triangletriangle4520 Thank you for replying to me; please reply again. I love Terry Fox, he was a true hero! However, I did have a bone cancer scare, aged 24. I had surgery this February on my ankle for leiomyosarcoma. My doctors said I would never be able to run again. Well, I just came back from a 10 minute run and I plan to sign up for the local marathon next year. 👍
