    Last season, a dream team lineup turned into a nightmare for the Los Angeles Lakers. No moment was worse than a career threatening injury to the face of its franchise over the last 17 years, Kobe Bryant. With less than a month remaining until the start of this season, many wonder when the Black Mamba will return from his torn achilles and if he will ever be the same player again. Only time will tell, but if there's one man who can do it, it's Kobe Bryant. Love him or hate him, everyone is waiting to see how the last chapter of his storied career will unfold.
    ---
    In honor of my favorite player of all time, this mix commemorates Kobe Bryant's entire career from beginning to now, chronicling the ups and downs for one of the greatest to ever play the game.

    That moment when you realize Kobe's played in 7 finals, ridiculous. Over a 3rd of his career he's made it to the end and won 5 of them.

    People get amnesia really fast when it comes to Kobe. They forget this stuff. Forget that he was almost unstoppable in his prime. He destroyed the league. For the most part it was like that last season before his achilles tear. He may never surpass Jordan, but one thing is already a fact. Kobe Bryant is one of the greatest players ever seen on an NBA floor.

    im not a hater but i realized this, most of lebron's fans are kids or teenagers who never saw mj and only saw the fall of kobe's career (after achilles injury). the teenagers are the ones who started watching basketball when lebron started but didn't see mj at all or the greatest parts of kobe's career. the kids are most of the bandwagon fans lebron has.

      Sean KooI've watched all 3... I have respect for Lebron's game, even though he had a couple questionable occurrences in the playoffs, including the Finals his first year with Miami and when the C's took them out. But he always has the team's best interest in heart at all times. No one on Earth can say the same thing about Kobe. I give Kobe props for working his ass off, but other than that he is everything wrong with what a superstar can be in team sports.

    Even though I'm a bit of a Lebron fan, this is what I admire about Kobe, He's too stubborn to give up. He has that fighting mentality and the will to win that pushes him to keep on going. Even if he were to lose a foot, he will still keep on player.
    To all the soft NBA players that cry over a broken finger or a sore ankle or some other insignificant injury, Kobe will tell you he played through that shit. Kobe Bryant is truly the last of the OGs.

    Kobe bean black mamba Bryant, I've never seen a player in any sport , want to win as bad as Kobe, he never gives up , even if he was 20 points down in 4 the quarter with 5 mins left, he d still have that drive , most players give up, not Kobe, everyone should appropriate moves work ethic , will to win, cause u won't see it for a long time , Michael had a little what Kobe had , but Michael was interested in other sports to, moves not afraid to take the shot and thats what makes a great player, people say he is a ass to teammates , but he just wants them to have the same work ethic he has, but like I said no one is Kobe Bryant, he might not win 6 champion ships or have the highest fg percentage, or MVPs and stuff, but what he has is better, the will , to keep going, to never give up, to prove to the world that a 36 year old man can still be one of the best, to take the last shot , and not caring what people think, that's why he is the greatest to ever play the game, and u should enjoy him while u can , cause you'll never see it again

    Kobe Bryant is in a basketball world of his own away from LeBron MJ Bird Magic etc. all of the players I just listed all mastered the dynamics of basketball they used that to lead them to greatness and championships... with kobe although he does eat and breathe basketball, he displays it differently, kind of what every kid dreams of doing, like taking an impossible three pointer with a defender draped all over you with 2 seconds left to win a game.. shots that we literally pretend to or dream of making. the shots that a coach will yell at you for taking, but everyone wants to take, kobe is the player that fuels that passion in kids because he is the one who brings that to the table every game he plays, along with the ability to completely take over a game although in which MJ could also do any given day.

    alot of people are going to get on my case about this, but perhaps physically kobe is edged by lebron. But kobe is better than Lebron, his work ethic, his focus, his need to take the team on his shoulders. The guy carried the Lakers so many times, with the game on the line he single handedly won games with buzzer beater after buzzer beater. Im not saying Kobe didnt get help, but my point is the difference between Kobe and Lebron is that one is willing to shoulder the team and play through anything, the tenacity to win, the leader that he is, Kobe has just personified determination over time..... and now even at the end of his career, when he has nothing more to prove, he injured his achilles, a injury which should end his career and he wants to come back? i dont think there are words that can describe that determination

      LeBron has always had everything going for him (In the NBA I mean). No injuries and no bad coaches. Kobe on the other hand has gone through many adversities. Injuries, Fights, Bad Coaches, Dwight Howard and so on. Stat wise LeBroom has had a better career. But when it comes to making the big plays, stepping up where his team needs him the most, no one can come near Kobe. MJ did it in his day. Kobe did it the previous decade. He is EASILY the best player of the last decade.

      It also takes time to win nba titles 2000 to 2002 2009 to 2010 just like jordan did 1991 to 1993 1996 to 1998 but you just dont go to another superstars team and bring another superstar player with you to win titles to take the easy way out if lebron had stayed in cleveland and build his self from the bottom to the top with one team his whole career and win titles at the same time then people would like him alot more then now

    • @EezZey
      @EezZey 11 років тому +1

      THE weakest and most ignorant argument of all time... If his team is good and he's the best, that should make him even better. On top of that look at your statistics, not counting 2 point FG made (Layups, dunks etc) Lebron's shooting has much improved over the last couple of years. 103/254 3-pointers last season at 40.6%. And all he does is run people over? I don't even know what to say about that. You need to watch some basketball before you start analysing... Much respect for Kobe and Lebron!

So I don't know why you would mention either of us, you're just as ignorant as kobe baller. By the way it's than* not then, don't call others stupid until you learn how to spell.
