    I’m Justin, a S&C Coach. I help athletes who run sub 12.5s in the 100m and 5.2s in the 40yd sprint faster.
    If you don’t run those times, watch all my free videos, and do my free programs until you can, then come work with me!
    I’ve helped multiple athletes run 10.4 in the 100m, and 4.4 in the 40yd. I’ve also trained Division 1 soccer, basketball, and track athletes.
    Here is proof of my results and who I have trained:

    i'm glad more people are recognizing how sick su bingtian is of an athlete. while there have obviously been better 100m runners in history, that 60m speed is lethal for sports like football, rugby, basketball, etc. guy has the fifth fastest 100m pr in history.

      For short burst acceleration in most sports what Bingtian is doing is ahead of the curve.

      @@Messup7654Oh it matters for the Miami Dolphins with 3 players running between 10.19 - 10.07 & another player running a 10.28 on offense. Defenses in the NFL are all having a difficult time matching up with the fastest offense in NFL history.

    I'm actually using your content to help me with my 50 m freestyle and butterfly events. The dive in swimming is the part in the race when you're going the fastest. So all this plyometric work has been awesome!

    i can't time myself when i'm alone. But i can run into a radar display.
    So i can instantly see my velocity in [km/h].
    This is very motivating and maybe as good as timing for max velocity.

    Hey man. Just wanted to say at 4:50 that’s actually not using a belt attached to the ground, it’s an air-resisted squat machine much like the one at 2:50 which is also air-resisted. You choose how much resistance the machine gives you before you execute the movement, and you can add or release the pressure whenever needed.

    Much of what you see here is good, but you forget that Su is at the highest level of sprinting. Furthermore, these exercises are tailored very specifically to address his limiting factors and strengths.
    If you’re doing the 100 in 12-13sec, a more general or traditional approach of just getting stronger, improving your fitness, plyometrics and just sprinting is going to get you faster.
    As you get into the 10s and sub 10.5, that’s when you can start worrying about power to weight ratio, limiting maximal strength work etc.

    I have a question: can you use weighted vests instead of sleds or are sleds a better option?

    It's pretty interessting that we don't see any traditional squats or colympic lifts although the chinese are masters in that movements.
    Probably Su's training team found that there are much better exercises for sprinters.

    Hello, is there a way to pick your brain about training for a different sport besides track and or jumping?

  • @pitbullgait
    @pitbullgait Рік тому

    Is there video where he's doing 2 or 3 dribble A drills where he's striking forefoot to midfoot even heel, as if he's going over stepping over at knee and skimming forefoot to heel, but it's at at least 5 steps per second, so he's still stalling but 9ver a slightly greater ground patch amplitude, then later in his progression he's directly going to full out Sprint's. I don't know what his progressions are, but I thought if you drill that quick toe to heel, you could fracture heel. But that was with a bigger athlete, I thought Ryan Bailey from Oregon fractured his heel like that

  • @pitbullgait
    @pitbullgait Рік тому

    I know smaller athletes seemingly have a greater capacity for dribble variations or change of gear sessions(skip to sprint) or sleds on grass to track, but bolt blew that theory out of the water, but sometimes his training progressions has to be sped up, 2 a days for 3x per week every other day. Another thing he said was he was puking during sessions, but coming from a different sport cold based ice hockey, guys at 18 or 19 age puke during after there warmups and first shifts of the game, then next shift there core is more activated to be agile and coordinated to make the skating lateral changes of direction and then shoot to score

    Hi im a sprinter training by my self so far i do 2 days on the track 2 days in the gym on different days. I train for the 60 meters and 100 meters i do 40 to 60 meter sprints on one day and 120 to 150 meter sprint on the next day. Rest is 2 to 4 minutes between im doing 90 to 95 percent max effect. With stair sprints and standing long jumps box jumps. And some times hill sprints. Would yiu recommend getting a parachute. In the gym i do upperbody on one day legs on the other including all bodybuilding exercises with power cleans hang cleans rep range 3 to 5 on power exercises like bench press squats deadlifts. 10 to 15 reos on isolation exercises like hamstrings curls. Bicep curls ects. I improved from 13.22to 12.46 in 4 months im new into it and didnt run for years. I want to break 12 seconds this year. Im 5 foot 9 76kg 10 percent bodyfat.

      That’s great you should just use hills for resistance add in pylometric days and work heavily on form along with doing core work

    • @Messup7654
      @Messup7654 8 місяців тому +1

      You for sure can break 12 seconds if you work really hard I say you can get down to a 11.6 or 11.7 3 more months to do everything from technique strength power and health

    Say you're doing a reactive banded safety bar quarter squat. Do the bands add additional stability? Or is it just accommodating resistance?

    • @justjumari
      @justjumari  Рік тому

      It overloads the eccentric portion of the lift, and is a very foundational base way to train the SSC, but also accommodating resistance does help it’s another plus

      pogo jumps, triple jump, bounds, single leg cycle bounds, broad jump variations

    • @justjumari
      @justjumari  Рік тому +2

      Depends on the athlete. Usually level 4 plyos are the most effective and most dangerous. But also the sport itself will always be the best plyo (dunking , sprinting, the actual movement itself at max intensity)
