What if you don’t have friends and can’t afford a Lange hoist a cart??
What about storing this unit? Was looking forward to seeing how easy it is to lower and store upright.
Can i leave it up? I dont really have the room to store it in the down position.

There are other systems similar to this without straps that are better and easier to use.
Why didn't keep split the back top into two pieces?
If you're not disabled and need a hoist/crane to remove a TJ or newer hard top, it's time to hit the gym. Even the JLU top is only 140# for both sections combined. That's far lighter than the old fiberglass YJ/CJ tops that I and many others have taken off by ourselves.
Looks like you need a very high garage to use this. I think most door openers would be in the way, in the average garage. I suppose you would back the Jeep in then lift the top and then drive the Jeep out. Make sense?
Noob here. Isn't the Top lift pro easier? Costs 3x-5x more I think

How about 3 ratchet straps attached to the ceiling of your garage and then drive out from underneath it. Bamb you just saved $1000.00

CJ Off-Road called in with a question regarding my purchase. On hold for over 25 minutes. When the rep came on the line I asked for his help he started reading the reviews on my purchase. Told him I already read the reviews and that’s not what I was calling for. Asked for his help again “sorry I only specialize in mustang parts”. Asked to speak with someone that “specializes” in jeep parts and his response “sorry no body here specializes in jeep parts. You will have to call tomorrow”. That all fine and dandy and of that is how you guys want to treat customers then I’ll take my hard earned money somewhere else.
