- I wanted to put this song out before Election Day as a reminder that we all have more in common than politicians or the media would have us believe. Anger and fear mongering are effective tools to capture our attention, which these days is a sought-after commodity. The real enemies are not people on the other side of the political isle, but the people who want to keep us divided. I love this country so much, I hope we can start talking to each other again.

This song makes me cry - the deep down kind. You point out so beautifully how we've been pitted against each other in the name of political agendas and corporate greed. What fools we are to allow ourselves to be lead around by propaganda. At our core, we know we're better than that. I pray for this nation, my neighbors, and my family in the weeks to come. We are so divided - intentionally - and whatever sparks ignite over this election will be fanned into bonfires by the main-stream media. We are in the midst of an orchestrated color revolution, sorry to say, and our only defense is to call (or sing) it out. History is prologue. - we're not immune. It can happen here, and is. All that aside - absolutely beautiful song under any social conditions =)

Wow. What a great song. I tried commenting yesterday but don't see my comment anymore.
