I feel like that was a prop malfunction that worked well because they kept going with it. Perfect for the professors character. Almost like everyone Harry encounters has had all their luck transferred to Harry.
One of the few scenes I prefer over the one from books. Books one was obviously good but I think we were constantly focusing on narration(atleast I was), here we actually got to see it without knowing what Harry was thinking and some extra things too.

This is one of the best scenes and there are a couple in the half-blood prince installment. It reaches a certain depth and universal truth in life irregardless of whether if's a Harry Potter movie or not.
This is such a good highschool movie, I love this series. But I feel this is the one that shows you the highschool experiences the best as unrealistic as it is, it is real in a way. I’ll always cherish this film.
