I’m the people!! These songs are for me. 🙋🏻♀️ Thank you for all the things that had to happen to get these songs out to the people.
Please, please, please, release this full album as soon as possible!! The world NEEDS these songs. It's so freeing to know that Rita can ask these questions out loud and give permission to so many to have raw honest conversations with the Lord - knowing that he IS listening, that he IS still good but that it's ok to struggle as we see through the glass dimly until He comes or takes us home.
In the midst of severe heartbreak Rita’s music is holding me up! I just tragecly lost my 41 year old daughter 2 weeks ago! Her twin sister 7 years ago and my daddy 2.5 years ago. I am a worshiper as well.
I am writing lyrics, here and there about the rawness of changing emotions in the midst of so much loss. But, yet Jesus truly stays the same. My strong tower my shield.
This has been so hard. I really appreciate the prayers from Rita’s community here as I maneuver thru the pain! ❤️🙏🔥🔥🔥🔥🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏

Amen! ‘Play like YOU!’ My older brothers weren’t Christian acting and professional musicians, classically trained. I played by ear, no lessons so I always felt inadequate. I played a piano temporarily left in a classroom and a teacher heard me. My teacher nagged my parents to sacrifice and get me lessons. She even found a piano teacher. I had a little over a year and still felt sooo awful. As an adult playing with a choir at church, the Holy Spirit took over. It was a song I didn’t know, and the Lord said just play. The EAR God gave me kicked right in and it was an amazing work of God for HIS praise. Thank you Rita. We’re not all to be recording artist and God has a place for the gift He’s given🙏🏽
Oh the timing of this album feels like a gift from God for the season I’m now standing in. Thank you for choosing to lean into finding more sounds and lyrics from your deep wrapped in the sounds of heaven and releasing more for others to be able to sit under. ❤

That piano tone on Answer Me, just gorgeous
Wow. So much of what was shared here is reminding me that I still find myself saying outloud to remind myself “I AM NOT A BEGGAR, I’M A DAUGHTER!” It’s interesting that one of my life messages is carrying the Spirit Of Adoption and deeply wanting to play a role in revealing the true nature and the heart of Daddy God. The Father’s heart. I’m definitely very aware that He IS absolutely still bringing deeper levels of inner healing to my heart so that I don’t continue to find myself defaulting to reacting to life with an orphan spirit. I SO love these new songs and how authentic and beautiful they are. They are hitting home with me especially in this extra bizarre season where I continue to have a sense that I’m feeling my way along blindfolded and I’m aware I’m very near high cliffs. So, listening to the sound of His voice is imperative so I can even know where my next step needs to be. I know there will be a great collective “thank you” once these songs are released. 💜
