I used to dream of riding like this, watching ‘Champion the Wonder Horse’ as a kid, and in my imagination riding a black Arabian everywhere with no saddle or bridle! I’m in my fifties now, trying to forget all the bhs standard training techniques, and learning to work from the ground with my dream horse (real one this time) thank you for the inspiration. It is truly beautiful.

Amazing connection. Two different species together as one. However, you put yourself out for everyone to see and maybe try and copy. In that vain please wear a helmet. One brain uses it and protects it. Brain injuries have ongoing problems if not death.
The riding is beautiful. A great relationship and you have great balance and trust; really one with the horse but you should use a saddle as the direct weight on the spine causes the horse more discomfort. This has been researched and proven.

I believe this takes a lot of time, and most people don't want to give it.....walking the horse through many situations, training, bonding....
Actually it takes very little time but what takes time is becoming the person you need to be.

Why are you riding the horse bareback? That is hard on the horse's spine.
